There are 12 million people in the United States today who want a better lives for themselves and their families, whose only crime was that they came to America to do it. Entered illegally.
Sometimes caught, returned, and re-entered illegally.
Fabricated stolen identity cards.
Avoided taxes.
Milked welfare.
Wired billions back HOME to Mexico (taking the money out of our economy while expecting taxpayers to pay THEIR living expenses).
Cut loose when caught DWI (too much hassle dealing with non-resident defendants, trial expense, legal expense, prison expense,...).
Plenty of scofflaw charges.

I’ve never heard of this guy.
Why should I care what he says?
Anyone can say they’re a Republican and then spout all kinds of nonsense. Democrats have done it before.

Oddly enough, this came immediately to mind:
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.

I am proud to be a "nativist" since that means I believe in the sovereignty of my country.
- Deport illegal aliens on contact with LE.
- Enforce the law vigorously on employers of illegals.
- Strong border security. Build the physical fence and use high-tech surveillance.
- Eliminate entitlements for illegal aliens.
- End the "anchor baby" policy.
Do those things and illegal aliens will deport themselves and pay for the trip.

There are 12 million people in the United States today who want a better lives for themselves and their families, whose only crime was that they came to America to do it. I'm sure there are also many bank robbers and others who also want a better life for themselves and their families.
They are still criminals.

There are 12 million people in the United States today who want a better lives for themselves and their families, whose only crime was that they came to America to do it. And, should a homeless person who merely wants a better life take up residence in your home, Shaun Kenney, exactly how would you deal with him?
Talk about a perfect GOP-e twit.
I would rather live next door to an illegal than to a Shaun Kenney.

I am pro-immigration. I am not a nativist. However, I also believe in the rule of law. And anyone in this country illegally is a law breaker. So on this, I will have to disagree with Mr. Kenney's position while also pointing out the non-rationality of his argument. This was never about nativism. It is about upholding the rule of law.
I personally know foreigners with advanced degrees who are in this country legally, yet our government will not allow them to seek employment even though their skills are in demand. Yet our same government gives benefits to people here illegally, and does nothing to stand in the way of them also holding jobs.
If one really wants to solve the immigration problem, then STOP GIVING BENEFITS TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT US CITIZENS. NO COUNTY HEALTH CLINICS. NO FOOD STAMPS. NO PUBLIC SCHOOL ACCESS. NO SOCIAL SECURITY. NO AFDC. NO EITC. NO WIC. NONE OF IT. Do that, and you will see a halt in illegal immigration.
