Thanks. Gowdy up now, so I guess next it’ll be a Dem with the obligatory “Thank you for being here and for your amazing service. You’re a superior human being and it’s a shame that the Republicans are so evil as to ever suggest that you’d ever do anything wrong and look for evidence which we’ll do our best to make sure they never find” statement.
Nothing happens to any politician at the national level until the media focuses on it. If this was a Repub AG, the media would be so focused on it that the pressure to resign would be overwhelming. We all know that this will not happen with a Dem AG or a Dem administration. Thus, nothing will happen with the IRS scandal or any other scandal with this administration because the media is not only not focusing on them, but is actually ignoring or minimizing them. So, to the typical LOFO, it is just one party going after the other.
And we have a Congress who will probably apologize to Holder in private and offer to be more cooperative in the future (knowing that if they don't he'll sick the NSA, IRS and everyone else on them).
