JEB BUSH: CROSSING THE BORDER ILLEGALLY AN 'ACT OF LOVE'
Breitbart ^ | April 6, 2014

Posted on 04/06/2014 11:18:45 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush discussing immigration reform on Fox News this Sunday:

"I'm going to say this and it will be on tape, and so be it. The way I look at this is someone who comes to our country because they couldn't come legally, they come to our country because their family's dad who loves their children was worried that their children didn't have food on the table, and they wanted to make sure their family was intact. And they crossed the border because they had no other means to work to be able to provide for their family. Yes, they broke the law, but it's not a felony. it's kind of -- it's a -- it's an act of love. It's an act of commitment to your family. I honestly think that's a different kind of crime that should be, there should be a price paid, but it shouldn't be -- it shouldn't rile people up that people are actually coming to this country to provide for their families. And the idea that we're not going to fix this but with with comprehensive reform ends up trapping these people, when they could make a great contribution for their own their families but also for us.

So I think we need to get beyond the harsh political rhetoric to a better place. The great number of people who come to this country come because they have no opportunities in other places. They may love their country, but they come here because they want to provide for their families. And they can make a contribution to our country if we actually organized ourselves in a better way."

Amnesty and Abortion are my only two, absolute bottom lines.

Any candidate that supports either will never have my vote.

No matter what else.

That leaves out every Republican I can think of. And Certainly every Democrat.

Jeb Bush, Wrong Paul, and Rand Paul.
You do know the people on this site who have been shilling for either of these two are not doing so by accident, and they are not unaware right?

They generally fall into one of two camps.
Those using illegals for under the counter contract labor, or those who want cheap drugs flowing freely across the border.
Or both.

There is no “never thought about it.”

This site is popuated by politically aware posters.

I have worked with illegals in some labor temp jobs and have found them to be honest and hard working.

Honest? How the hell do you define "honest?" They knowingly violated our laws including entering illegally, working illegally, committing ID theft, evading taxes, lying on employment forms, using phony or stolen SSNs, etc. Many of these crimes are felonies.

Let's call them what they are: lawbreakers.

“Mexico’s unemployment rate is 4.6 percent”

It sure would be nice to have an American politician looking out for Americans.
When the Washington Post disagrees with a Republicrat amnesty pimp, you know he’s got a problem:

“Groan. Ugh. Sigh.

“Select your own preferred annoyed grunt in response to the December employment report, which in one instant made a lot of the progress the U.S. economy has been showing the last few months look more questionable. The nation added only 74,000 jobs in December, the weakest showing since the start of 2011, and far below the 205,000 monthly average of the three preceding months.

“The unemployment rate fell to 6.7 percent, which is the lowest since October 2008. But this apparent good news has a dark lining — 347,000 people dropped out of the labor force (that is, are no longer looking for work) while only 143,000 additional people reported having a job. Interestingly, a broader measure of unemployment that also captures people who have given up looking for a job out of frustration didn’t budge, remaining at 13.1 percent.”

Sure he will. Rove will do for Jeb what he did for Romney.
Flood the primaries with fake conservatives like the Huckster
and dilute the conservative vote.

what a world class schmuck he is for saying this.

What about the repeat border crosser who raped and murdered that girl in, where was it? Wisconsin, Minnesota? Somewhere cold.

and the boston marathon bombers whose family came here to live off welfare, annoy their neighbors, and kill Americans.

How about Mohammed Atta and that ilk?

This list should go on and on. And while it may not be fair to compare all illegals with these murderous criminals it is very wrong to praise them for their lawbreaking and shower them with accolades.

And besides, 2 bushes has been more than enough. I don’t think any human would be great enough that he should be the 3 member of an immediate family to occupy the WH. He’s have to be the greatest thing since sliced bread and Jeb is very far from that.

Where do we get this trash? Apparently “The People” want this emotional twaddle. Given the type of politician produced today these type of statements would not be uttered unless their pollsters found such words are what people want. God help us.

I guess this means illegal aliens are free to go on his property and take whatever they want as “love”.

He would be a hypocrite, otherwise.

IOW, you only have to follow The Commandments and laws if they get in your way. Basically, no law.

None dare call it “Anarchy”

a state of society without government or law.

It is supposed to inspire Christian charity-or something like that?

I suppose some think it can be spun to make decent people feel guilty, but it only works with really stupid people who haven’t dealt with REAL illegals who steal stuff from the properties of ranchers barely making a living-including chickens, and even a goat or two to butcher and eat, and take ranch and construction jobs from American citizens. In this county, we call la migra on them first and ask questions later...

These current politicians are living proof of the truth of the statement made by a great historian circa 1888-” In declining states the leadership intuitively chooses the most harmful course of action.”

“No trying to sneak about $19 grand in foreign purchases through customs without paying the duty.”

Well, well, I never heard that story before. ha! Like those customs guys aren’t totally wise to that trick most esp. if you are coming back from La belle France or La bella Italia.
