Mr. McAuliffe stated,point blank,he would not engage in partisan skullduggery to affect the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare at the expense of the Virginia State budget, yet that is exactly what he is doing. Less than six months after taking office, Mr. McAuliffe is not only doing “a 180” on his campaign promise not to hold the budget hostage to his whim, but doing so at the expense of the State budget and the well-being of State government. So what does it mean when we say Gov. McAuliffe and his Progressive and Democrat stooges will hold the budget hostage in an effort to coerce the minority party into ideological acquiescence? It means that the Democrats – the Democrats – will be insisting that State government be shut down until the fiscally responsible minority party caves-in to what can only be viewed as political extortion. It means that Virginians across the State will be immediately and directly affected:1)Public schools teachers and staff will be suffocated of pay, 2)Law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel will be deprived of funding for critical training that keeps them sharp in the face of the impossible, some being deprived of paychecks. 3) Hospitals and free clinics will curtail services for lack of funds, 4)DMV services will be greatly diminished, 5)Veterans will be disenfranchised as benefits, including medical treatments are delayed and in some cases even cancelled, 6)Colleges and universities will see essential services reduced, 7)Road maintenance will be suspended, 8)New business licensing will be halted, thus affecting the creation of badly needed new jobs, especially in poverty-stricken areas: 9)Family support and community-based mental health care will be abridged, 10)Availability of public transportation will be reduced, and more. This is what Progressive partisanship looks like. This is what Democrat narcissism produces...

You would think in this day and age people would finally learn that there is no free lunch. Does every generation have to always learn the hard way? I guess so. Hopefully, VA will learn - but I will not hold my breath waiting.

When are people going to realize that liberals will say anything to get elected and then do the exact opposite, they always do.
Are members of the Main Stream Media asking Mr. McAuliffe about his promise not to hold the budget hostage? Is he admitting he only said that to get elected? Or, is he blaming others?
Many voters voted for him because of their hatred for Cuccinelli, his Republican opponent for governor.
I suspect that the Virginian voters will just shrug this off as "politics as usual." There is no integrity among the Democrats, but that is nothing new.
Like the rest of the country, those paying will not deserve it.
If a democrat is caught not lying his party credentials are suspect.

Actually, I disagree. I voted in the Virginia election last year, and Cooch was leading McAwful. Except. . . .Tons of “Blue” NoVa districts hadn’t reported yet. Which was odd, because they all have electronic voting machines, and USUALLY report within 30 minutes of the polls closing.
But it took 5-6 HOURS for the NoVa precincts to report. Smells like 2012 all over again. . .massive voter fraud. . .
More proof that McAuliffe is Progressive.
