Former President George W. Bush has painted dozens of portraits of world leaders he worked with while in office. His paintings are on public display for the first time at "The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy,” an exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas. Before the exhibit opened, Bush said none of the leaders in his display had seen their portraits, but he predicted they would react favorably.

> Now let’s list Obozo’s personal accomplishments: (crickets, I hear nothing but crickets...)

Accomplished liar
Extremely well versed in deception. Proof: fooled wife of 20 + years that he’s straight
Destruction of a nation
Excellent fleibility proven by his bowing skills with foreign leaders
Can turn anything he touches to crap
Fly catcher (probably as a result if above)
Very good at looking like a doofus on a bicyle

So see he has accomplished much

Now we know what GWB was doing instead of vetoing large spending bills, fighting back on attacks on his integrity, and signing the campaign spending bill while saying it was unconstitutional, but the SCOTUS would take care of it... he was painting.

Well Bush uses a stylized approach to his portraits. Its very interesting. He’s actually not bad. I think he has caught the essence of Putey. :-)

He reminds me of Mads Mikkelsen, in the TV show Hannibal.

The wonderful thing about art is viewing the world through other’s eyes. The paintings are very revealing.

Looks like he is a better painter than a President.

Add these:

pitches like a girl
gives Pope Francis vegetable seeds for a gift.
Gives away his personalized gift from Pope Francis
gives back to Great Britain the bust of Winston Churchill
adds 7 states to the USA
renames the USMC to define it as a corpse
bullies the Little Sisters of the Poor

Come on - we can find a lot more accomplishments

“I wonder if he later changed his opinion?”

I’d like to think he did. It would make me think slightly better of him.

(Dern, I just got through typing “think” instead of “thing,” and right there I tried to type “thing” instead of “think.” Took me about ten minutes to get this parenthetical sentence together. Maybe I’ll take a nap.)

Hmm, I didn’t know he played guitar either. Any POTUS who can play a musical instrument (I’m thinking of Truman and Nixon, both of whom played piano) has some creative talent, which means brains.

Never heard of BO playing anything.

That’s pretty good!

Portraiture isn’t about photographic accuracy but about capturing the personality of the subject.
