Oh my dear sweet ONYX! How sorry I am that I missed this news about your DrO. Haven’t been on FR for days now. You know I would have been praying if I had known. So glad that there has been a lot of prayers being said, and I will add mine to those now. One of the hardest things to do is to have a loved one seriously ill and hospitalized. May the Lord give you strength for your weakness, comfort for your husband’s pain, peace from your fears, and may the healing begin now.
My hubby has lived with a congestive heart for 15 years and he only missed one Sunday preaching. He has a defib and the Dr says his heart is doing fine. The prayers are already working for your husband. His liver will be okay. I doubt there is anything wrong with it because he is not yellow, as you said. Statins can cause liver problems, and so can some BP meds. Let’s hold to the thought of the problems being treatable and your beloved back home soon.

Thank you so much, dearest, sweet Nan and everyone.
DrO made it through his first surgery yesterday and he’s been in ICU ever since. I stayed till I was thrown out, but he never knew I was there, and went back at 6:00AM, and he still didn’t know I was there, and I just left after I saw his primary doctor who’s also mine. His son, the cardiologist will see my sweet husband for the first time this morning, but the ICU has weird, restricted hours, so I can’t go back in till 10:00AM. That’s all right, because I have to take my car into the dealer, due to some engine light coming on. “When it rains, it pours.”
Again, thank you so much for your prayers. You all mean the world to me and I trust you all know that. His vitals remain very good and that’s due to prayer. I truly believe that and he’s lived his whole life believing in the power of prayer and serving our good and merciful Lord the best he could on a daily basis.
