Onyx's husband (DrO) is now in the hospital with heart problems and other serious health issues. Prayer support would be greatly appreciated.

Prayers continue for you and DrO. So glad he’s receiving top notch care.

Those ICU hours are for your benefit, too. It’s important for family members who will be handling the patient’s care upon discharge to take care of themselves, get sleep, eat well, etc. Yes, and to do ‘normal’ things like taking the car to the shop.

Praying, dear onyx. Rebuke all his symptoms in the Name of Jesus and stand in faith, reaching out to the promises of God. The Word says, “By Whose stripes we were healed.” It has been accomplished through Christ’s finished work on the Cross. No matter what you see or hear, stand on that Word.

I lost 10 lbs. with Bill’s last illness. The only thing I cared about was functioning every day to make the best decisions I could for him and make sure he was getting the proper care. We had temps of 105-107 every day during those months, and my eating was way down on my list. Try to eat enough you keep energy because you have to keep going.

One hospital where I had Bill, there was a convenient coffee bar and I was mainly made up of coffee during those days. I am thinking of you and O every day.

Thank you so much. I love you, right back and you know it.
I was so surprised when I went there today, that he had visitors! Lovely neighbors from across the street. He was still asleep, but I got him to acknowledge me. I know that rest is good for him and his vitals were still excellent.
