As a Christian, I do NOT know what the significance of the Easter Bunny is. IOW, as far as I know, THERE IS NOTHING RELIGIOUS about the Easter Bunny!

Even if there is some religious significance, Their complaint is laughable, and only further demonstrates their intolerance and ignorance of our laws.

Can someone please tell me how the Easter Bunny is religious?

Easter Bunny origin goes back to pre-Christian Anglo-Saxon history. The Pagans celebrated the goddess Eastre, the goddess of fertility of springtime. Her earthly symbol was a rabbit.
When the Ango-Saxons converted to Christianity the pagan holiday was combined in with the Christian celebration of Jesus’ resurrection, and was called Easter.
