The 10th annual National Young Feminist Leadership Conference, which was held in Washington D.C. last weekend, was billed as being “inclusive” and “representing various perspectives and experiences.”
Not so much. When Campus Reform‘s Katherine Timpf attempted to ask young women their views on feminism, not only was she told “you’re not wanted here,” an announcement was made advising attendees not to talk to Campus Reform because it’s “conservative.”
The website of Feminist Campus, which bills itself as the “world’s largest pro-choice student network,” promoted the conference this way:
“The goal of this conference is to encourage and prepare young women to become the social and political leaders for their generation.
Skill-building workshops will educate conference participants on a wide array of topics and provide them with critical skills to return to their campus and employ them immediately!
All of our workshops and panels will be structured around inclusivity and with a focus on representing various perspectives and experiences.”
Just another example of the “inclusive” “big tent” mentality of the left. Liberalism is only about including those with whom it agrees.

Feminists oppose their own femininity and therefore really oppose themselves. If they don't like themselves they're not going to like others either. It's kind of a screwed up mess.
Reminds me of last month’s VANITY FAIR article on “women changing the world.” Who were these women? Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, etc. All liberals. No conservatives were included at all. Total agenda.
If the conservative women weren’t engrossed in raising the children liberal women don’t have, they might give a damn.
Not sure if I am glad or sorry to have missed that article. The same meme could be reported for African Americans, minus Justice Clarence Thomas, of course. Toss Condoleezza Rice into the mix and she is ignored by both.
When a Leftist talks about inclusivity" with respect to "various perspectives and experiences", he's talking ONLY about race and gender orientation, NOT political views.
The misspelling there in the first word could be a good descriptor

I’m an avid reader of history, and have been ever since I was a little kid (I am in my sixties now). One of the things I learned a long time ago was how hateful “progressives” were and are. Take the Bolsheviks, for example. A more miscreant and reprobate and utterly hateful group would be hard to find.
The American “progressives” are acting EXACTLY like the Bolsheviks did in their early days, before they began the wanton slaughter of anyone who believed or thought differently than they did. American “progressives” are just an excuse away from copying their Bolshevik brethren.
