Drink three gallons of water in an hour and you’ll die.

for somethings methadone has good medical uses....

Perhaps the larger argument you suggest is that people shouldn’t start smoking in the first place. It is a legal thing to do (currently....I am sure it will be outlawed by the pot smokers soon enough)

It's something a non-smoker could ever possibly understand. Just for perspective:

I wrecked my back in an accident about 15 years ago and have had several surgeries to keep me upright, but I can't function without pain medication most of the time. I destroyed my gut with advil so Vicodin is the only functioning alternative. forget the Oxycontin stuff. I've been on pain pills for 15 years almost straight and I have a cycle I have to follow. I take 5mg of Vicodin every 6 hours starting out, over the course of about 1 1/2 years, I eventually get up to about 80-90mg /day which is an unreasonable amount and it doesn't work anymore due to the tolerance slowly building. Of course at that point, I am chemically addicted to the stuff but there is no avoiding it... it's either do it or go in a wheelchair. My point is, I can quit synthetic heroin cold turkey and stay off of it for 6-8 months to reset my system. Its rough, I have to take Tylenol and walk with a cane, but it's do-able. The point is, I can do that, but I couldn't quit cigarettes. I'm a stubborn sonofabitch and can do almost anything I set my mind to, but the damned cigarettes had me cuffed for 30 years. The vaporizer got me off of them. I don't consider it quitting because I still have the habit, but I'm healthier for it, feel better, the kids don't see me doing it and the garage and car don't smell like hell anymore. It's like being unchained, I don't schedule my entire life around my next cigarette anymore. And now these SOB's want to take it away and turn it into something evil. I feel like the vaporizer saved my life... this crap is enough to make someone want to go off the deep end man.

Nice looking piece.
I’ve been using TotallyWicked’s products for years. Just got the new E-lectron-s a week ago, and it’s already giving me issues. Been using their dual coil tanks, but it looks like they’re discontinuing the atomizer for that model. Going to try something different before I run out of my stockpile.

Yep...As you tried to get across, they are many times way safer than regular cigs and it’s benefited a whole lot of people and allows them to still get their nic fix. But without all the nasty killer chemicals and stink which comes with cigarettes.

I sure as hell will not preach to anyone on how to quit, or get on some high horse about it, because the truth is, I would gladly smoke a 40 foot long Marlboro right now, if it were not for the horrible neuropathy I have in my feet.

I used an E cig to break my pack a day habit and then finally went cold turkey from nicotine last September.
It was nuts. But the E cig helped me.

One of the reasons I bought the one I did, is because it has variable power. (and of course the fact that it looks wicked cool). Once I finally wean myself down and stop using it completely, I’m going to do some fun mods to it, possibly with some LEDs and a laser. I think it would make a really awesome laser pointer. Given the way the electronics of it work, I shouldn’t have to do any rewiring. I think Ill be able to fix the laser head inside what is now the juice tank. The goal is to be able to pop balloons. :-)

I highly recommend the Aspire based tanks. The head system makes them bulletproof... and I'm telling you, I've tried them all. I'm a pretty heavy vaper and go though about 2ml/day.. sometimes 3. Vaping that heavy, the heads last me like a month and are completely trouble-free and put off excellent flavor after a couple hours of break-in time. I can't say enough good things about them.

Here is a link to a good assortment of them. They all use the same heads EXCEPT the Nautilus. Pick you flavor, they have them in Ego or 510 and just about and look or size. I've never used this particular vendor before I just picked the page because it shows a good assortment. I do know it's a legit vendor though, I've seen a lot of ECF people use that vendor.

I didn’t tell others what they can and can’t see. In fact by attributing the view to myself I clearly open the door for other folks to have their own opinion.

Hubby was a Marlboro red smoker for 40 years.

Last July, he had his first e-cig. I asked him to try it (actually begged him to). He didn't think it would work, but he tried it for me, thinking I'll give it a try for an hour or so, find it didn't work and be back to smoking.

He has not had a single regular cigarette since then and he admitted he is amazed that he has not. He has a craving once in a while, but he says it is mostly for the memory/habit than really wanting one.

Over the past several months, we have been lessening the nicotine used and 2 weeks ago, he went to 0mg in his liquid.

He says someday he hopes to give up the e-cig, but he isn't ready yet. It may be more getting the mind ready at this time, because he isn't getting the tar or other crap from cigs and now he isn't getting the nicotine either. But if the e-cig was taken away from him today, he would be back to Marlboros in a minute, that I know.

He feels so much better and doesn't smell like an ash tray anymore. He went from a $400 a month habit to less than $50 (start up was the most $$). And I'm sure the government would prefer him smoking so they can get their $$ share.

If anyone asks him, he'll say the e-cig works and says "If I can quit cigs after 40 years, then anyone can or at least try". I quit smoking 25 yrs ago cold turkey and it was the hardest thing I ever did. If wished they had the e-cig back then !!

A 40 yr habit gone, replaced by the e-cig and no nicotine now. The gubermint can go pound sand.

I quit smoking 16 mnths ago with e-cigs. E-cigs made it easy. But now instead of California and the feds getting all that tax money I am spending $3.50 per wk on e-cig juice. In December I switched from the high nicotine to the low nicotine and will eventually give that up.
