Judging from the clothing, it’s fall down there? Not as many tourists at the beach? Or are there always tourists there?

Yep....wasn’t much to grab out there...I suspect not many using phones as in the US, and being shaken by the event itself. The press always has to get their people in position..and THERE...so usually it’s those on the ground who first get photos up..and often not the best but lets us know what is happening......so i bring them here, when I can, so we have it as soon as possible.
Not familiar much with the area myself....the people were waiting for the waves then...which came later on I think.
I'm in Eastern US. but often a night hawk as my work schedule is all over the map...so I pretty much set my own time for on-line when not working.
Did you know that the mollusk travels from Alaska to Chile just for a shot at another mollusk?
