New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was one of their early choices, but now theyre worried the investigation into the Ft. Lee traffic jam is hurting Christies chances. Meanwhile, theyre concerned about the rise of Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, due to his tea party libertarianism and non-interventionist foreign policy inclinations.
Who can save them from this mess? Is it
could it be
a Bush on a white horse?

I think Jeb is our answer. No one on the scene today is fighting for a constitutional republic more than he. I hear he has the bill of rights tattooed on his thighs. His fight to keep the borders closed is beyond compare. Though his family are milk toast RINOS, he’s always been bravely and squarely conservative without pause. People say Stay Out Da Bushes. But remember, a Bush in one hand is better than a bird, meaning Hillary. Plus, remember, behind a Bush is usually another Bush. Why, there are bushes stretching forward into time for generations. Plus, they live a long time. If we are going to run one family forever, wouldn’t bushes be better than kardashians? None of the Bush family ever conceived a child with OJ Simpson. My new slogan: FOR A GOOD TIME, HEAD INTO THE BUSHES. I think that will work to excite voters.
Eeeeecccccccccccchhhhh. April Fool’s OF COURSE.
The republican “elite” don’t want to win, to lead. Why bother? It’s much easier to sit back, soak up the DC perks and criticize political opponents (tea party included)on occasion.
The problem with a third party is it would just be another Libertarian party, -where is it going? Hitlery will be the sure winner for sure.
Sure. Who else are they going to put tin there?
They’d run Harry Reid himself before going with anyone resembling a conservative. Psssh!
Elections have consequences, we all should know, but elections also serve as a barometer that measures the political trends of the American electorate. When Conservatives decided to stay home in mass in 2012, it created monumental confusion within the Republican Party with data to back it up. If People were not mobilized enough to oust Obama, the trends suggested that America was becoming more left of center. Because these 3+ million stayed home back then, the trend (from a political science standpoint) provides data which has tickled the ears of, and emboldened the Republican establishment. And so, not only is the Tea Party up against the Revolutionary Marxists who control the Democrat Party, but they are also against the Fabian Socialists who are working to take over the Republican Party.
Since Liberty wasn’t the sole priority of too many Americans in the 2012 election cycle, the choice is basically now between a faster or slower erosion of our liberties to serve the outcome designated for the United States of America.
“could it be a Bush on a white horse?”
Nothing against the horse.
However, I’ll pass on the jack@ss riding the horse if his name is Bush.
What happened in November 1972 and has not occurred since then?
Draft Bob Dole!
Jeb Bush? His positions on illegal immigration and Common Core make him a nonstarter. TPTB must be smoking something.
I just do not understand what makes the GOPe think this guy has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected.
Rush made a comment today, basically that the pundits have declared the era of Reagan over, yet why not the Bush’s?
No the elites are not trying to draft Jeb.The calculations have already been made and yet another Bush is in on it.
Quite frankly there is not much difference between Jeb and Hillary.
The puff pieces touting yet another Paul come from the drive-by, what a weird coincidence.

The Fabians have ruled the GOP since before Reagan.
...not a good idea!
The GOPe’s can draft him, recruit him or any other word you want to call it.
The results will be the same as McCain and Romney. LOSER!
Yeah well I’m kind of thinking TPTB really don’t care who is in office so long as they are candidates who will keep the monied interests happy.
Look at the last election. Who better to run than the guy who lost in the primaries to the candidate who lost to the incumbent POTUS. Did anyone really think he would win?
True, but Reagan disrupted their strength on the party, yet still incorporated them on the ticket. This unites both factions of the Republican Party.
That, I believe, is one of the main reasons why Reagan chose George H.W. Bush as his running mate. In 1992, 1996, 2008, and 2012 the more Conservative candidate was chosen to be a running mate instead of the nominee. However, in 1988, the only time in recent history when the establishment candidate ran with a more Conservative running mate and won, it was due to the establishment candidate’s appeal to keep in alignment with his Conservative predecessor’s governing policies. When he defected, the establishment candidate, as the nominee, has had trouble ever since.
