The story of Israel in recent years is replete with corruption allegations involving polticians or their family, resignations of politicians who come back after a hiatus and constant investigations by prosecutors.
One of them is now convicted on such charges.
Something like this will never happen in the USA because the courts are the most corrupt of all.
That it happened at all in Israel, despite our equally corrupt courts, is amazing. It can happen in the US if it’s happened here.
