Yes it does seem very much so. And why the Oligarch's make a point to get as close to political power as they can....politics makes the rules via regulations and various indicators used to “qualify” nations and encourage corporate investment.

Of course the regulations are set to force a country to either lower or raise it's regulations to accommodate corporate interests... Not to mention an influx of revenue to said country's who comply....such as third world countries. The Global Agenda is profit, power, and revenue flowing at breakneck speed .....and this too by keeping the non-compliant from participating or using pressure points to force them to comply. Same story with small business...just bigger stage and harder to track.

Another way to put it is...Whoever wins the Presidency will be sitting on top of world's largest organized crime syndicate in whatever nation is up for elections...... Heck look at even Afghanistan....all three up for Pres. were Karzi's men....just as is now happening in Ukraine....some things just never really change much because the nature of man does not change.
