Our good friend, RedMDer's beautiful wife, Lynn is in ICU at a hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Yesterday, the news RedMDer received from two doctors was grim, but today, another wonderful doctor said that he thought her condition was "treatable." PRAISE GOD!
According to the note I received from Steve just a little earlier tonight, he thought they might start Lynn on chemo tonight!!!
I am not privy to all the details and it's not my business, but please, please, pray for Lynn's complete healing, and add some prayers for RedMDer(Steve) their two, beautiful adult daughters and their two darling granddaughters.
Lynn has been to so many doctors over the past two years and now this. At least we have hope.
Dear Lord, please hear our prayers.
Prayers sent
We do the nutrition thing too. Juicing every day is almost fun now! He misses the red meat and protein but loves living better!
He is having a PET scan right now......possible needle biopsy next week. The tiny, little cancer seems to have changed or something.
BTTT
The chemo is likely to depress her immune system. Be very protective of who comes to visit AND what arrives on her plate until her immune function is back to snuff. My mother-in-law had a fatal encounter with Listeria laced cheese from some Mexican food after a month of chemo. The Listeria brought on meningitis and she simply didn't have the strength to continue the chemo.
Prayers for a full recovery....
Thank you for the news, always good to be ‘home’. Continuing prayers for Lynn and you.
Thank you for the update! No thanks are needed, Freepers take care of their own. :)
Lynn remains in my prayers and I’ve added her (as I am sure other Freepers have) to various prayer chains as well.
I know that the Lord loves to hear the smallest of whispers; but imagine His delight in many many voices! :) God bless.
Still praying.
Prayers!
Prayers continuing. Thanks so much for the update.
Continuing to pray for Lynn and you too.
Resounding “amen” and a ratification of all heartfelt prayers for your Lynn and all others with a similar situation of need. ALL GLORY TO GOD OUR FATHER!
Thank you for the update. I pray she will take the steps back to health. It may be long and tough, but it can be done.
I am so glad to hear this positive news!
I can only imagine missing meat and protein :(
Very glad to hear your doctors are on top of this with PET scans.
Please keep me updated...
I will keep your husband in my prayers, esp. regarding the remaining spot. He is truly an inspiration to those who, like Lynn, receive this dreaded diagnosis of small cell.
Blessings to you all.

Great info. Thank you!
Peace be with you!
Sorry to hear you’d been ill. Stay well and be blessed!
I’m very sorry to hear of your illness. Get well and stay well.
We are going to have a meeting today at the hospital to discuss upcoming radiation treatments so the information that you give is very valuable.
Thank you very much. God bless you.
