Yes a better precedent would be for every congressman to boycott it. It’s pure vain-glory meaninglessness.
I’ve heralded the idea forever here, but this country needs a Minister’s Questions hour like the Brits have. Our presidents and congress critters never have to face challenges or scrutiny unless one screws up; and not even then if he’s a demorat.
