We all depend on a father’s support. Without my father paying for my college all the way through graduate college, I could have never earned the money I did.

If my father was a well known politician, I could have benefited from his connections. There is absolutely nothing wrong with children of a powerful fathers benefiting in their own careers.

My own kids are benefiting quite a bit from me. One is in law college, another in medical college. Both will graduate with zero student loans. That is what fathers are for.

I find it interesting how many people who wouldn’t be caught dead voting for Ron Paul have no problem at all voting for Rand Paul.

We don’t need royalty in this country and he would have a chance against Clinton.

People really don’t want to look at Bill Clinton and precious Chelsea for another 8 years.

Well, Romney changed his positions on a lot of issues claimed to be more conservative, even claiming he was “severely conservative”, at least until he got the nomination locked up. Obviously millions of conservatives didn’t buy it, but enough decided he was conservative enough to get the nomination. Paul it seems to me is doing the opposite, trying to convince the GOP-e that he’s not a younger version of his dad, while still keeping Ron Paul types onboard.

Rand Paul would not be my first choice but if he’s the nominee he’ll get my vote because the prospect of having eight possible years with Hillary is far more scarier than having a libertarian-leaning Republican in the White House.

I always thought he must have cut a deal with the devil to land her, or perhaps the robot devil.

Good...then Paul should run AS A LIBERTARIAN WHICH IS WHAT HE IS AND NOT AS A REPUBLICAN!

Why should he? It's a free country. Rand Paul can run under whatever party he wishes. If he ran as a Libertarian, he might get 5% of the vote. Libertarians are wising up to the fact that they'll be much more successful if they put an (R) after their name.

You're equally free to refrain from supporting him. Myself? I'm liking what I see from Rand Paul more and more.
