Where exactly is the guy supposed to go if he has issues concerning his property?

Public comment doesn't get anything done. Been there, done that dealing with the officials.

If I was in his shoes, I'd keep the comments to under 3 minutes, and contact the township officials outside of the meetings. If it wasn't going well, I'd talk to others in the area of like minds and try again. If that doesn't work, I'd be running in the primary against them or recalling them.

Regardless, taking away the man’s right to own guns for life because he “resisted” is beyond ridiculous.

That’s a whole other issue. I wouldn’t have charged him, just sent him home.

The force continuum that police use is once the subject moves in the other direction or pulls back it’s considered “resisting”. Then they have the “go” to choke holds, mace, tazer, or sweep to the ground. It gets progressively worse. If anyone finds themselves in certain undesirable situations where rights are violated by “authorities” there is no resisting a little bit. If so, one has to go all the way with the understanding what that entails but moreover a preferred plan for exfiltration and minimal witnesses/evidence, etc.

I meant once police firmly grab a subject, any movement in opposite direction or not going with flow will be considered “resisting”.

Midland County and portions of Saginaw County are represented by Dave Camp (4th CD), an establishment GOPer who is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. If you didn’t know it already, Midland is home to the Dow Chemical Company. There is an oil and gas belt that runs through this part of Michigan, starting west of Big Rapids, and lying underneath places like Mount Pleasant and Alma, over to Midland (and presumably out underneath Lake Huron). Dow has been controversial over the years, but the river upon which Midland is located (the Tittabawasee) is cleaner below the Dow plants in Midland than it is upstream.

The long narrow blue strip is CD 5, which is represented by ‘Rat Dan Kildee of Flint. CD 5 takes in the large ‘Rat towns which used to be dominated by General Motors and subsidiaries: Flint, Saginaw and Bay City.

Every day, America seems to be slipping into tyranny.
If Mark Adams was speaking too long, at worst he should have been quietly escorted out of the building. To arrest him for speaking and charge him with a felony, thereby undermining his livelihood and other rights is an anathema to the foundation of this nation.

What is truly sad to see is that some even here on FR are okay with this outcome.
