I’m not a fan of Sam Adams beer, either. I feel it’s overhopped (i.e. a little too bitter) for the light body it has.

I’ve never had Yuengling, though I have heard good things. Especially about their porter.

Back when Sam Adams was first increasing its popularity, the brand did not have enough brewing capacity. So they contracted with one of the beer brands with declining sales and excess capacity to to use their facility.

Ironic that the beer that was at the forefront of the move to local beers and microbreweries was a bit of a fraud, isn't it? And now they've become trendy politically involved elitists, judging by this boycott.
