Get over it, children. The father "feared for his life".
and if this was an on-duty cop at this situation and the guy makes a fast move to get something while the cop has a gun on him, who’d be saying the cop over-reacted? reasonable people say it’s suicide to do this when someone has a gun on you. reasonable people say it’s a last-chance effort to get a weapon out and try to shoot or cut the guy with the gun on you. cops see this all the time and don’t wait for the guy to get a shot off at them.
and what if the guy was at home, was an ‘off-duty cop and the kid, who the guy believes was not invited in b/c daughter says no, while the guy has a gun on him, and the kid moves quickly to reach for something?
cop dad would have said he feared for his life. and nobody here would bat an eye or bitch he was out of line. well the kid as reaching for something fast and you don’t do that when someone’s pointing a gun at you. this place is full of double standards.
