Five Things Obama Could Do to be the Greatest President Ever, but Won’t
Townhall.com ^ | March 11, 2014 | John Ransom

The saddest thing about a guy like Obama, as opposed to say, Bill Clinton, is that if you went forward in time and showed him all his mistakes, showed him an alternate vision-- one that's successful for the country-- he is such an ideologue that he would reject the advice out of hand.

But still that doesn’t mean that I won’t share the five things Obama could do to turn the country and the economy around.

Some of these are things anyone could do. OK, anyone but Obama:

First, he'd have to be a U.S. citizen . . . he's not!

There are some tea leaves out there indicating that he’s getting ready to throw the Enviros under the bus on Keystone at an opportune moment.

Why do people post stuff like this? Obama, to himself and the folks that careful cultivated him, IS THE GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER.

Moreso if Israel is destroyed during his term. Moreso if the US is transformed into 1970’s UK prior to Thatcher.

WHAT IS GOING ON NOW IN THIS COUNTRY IS WHAT HE SET OUT TO DO.

He’s golfing while the Ukraine is being garrisoned. Did he NOT tell Medvedev that he’d have more flexibility after his LAST ELECTION of his life?

This is success to him.

The author makes an error.

He assumes Obama wants good things for America.

This is exactly what Joe Biden told him during the 2008 primaries, remember? He should have listened to him because he still hasn’t learned.

What we need posted and spread across the length and breadth of our fruited plain is:

FIVE THINGS DUMBASS VOTERS NEED TO UNDERSTAND!

1. Do not believe a politician's words, no matter how nice they sound. Look at their voting record. That is real. Words are just noise. Doctor King said a man should be judged on the content of their character. That means what they do, not just say.

2. Celebrities do not have any special insight! Being famous does not make you smart or right. Voting for someone because an actor or singer said to is like drinking poison because your friends dared you.

3. Don't vote for a party just because your parents did. Party politics change over the time. If so, shouldn't you?

4. Don't rely on the media to tell you the truth. They do not. They have an agenda. You would be surprised at the things they do not tell you.

5. A smart person is naturally skeptical when being told things that sound too good to be true. Everything has a cost, and there are always pros and cons to every argument. Knowing them helps you make a better decision.

Negotiate with Republicans on Obamacare

Another loser starting from a losing premise. There should be NO negotiation on Obamacare. It must go, in its entirety. To negotiate is to accept the premise that the government has any business being involved in the health care/health insurance business.

HEALTH CARE IS NOT A RIGHT. Sorry, but that's simple reality. Health care and health insurance are services provided by people just like anything else. To treat access to those services as a "right" means that you are forcing people to provide them.

“Obama— and his mom— seem to be the only ones who are ignorant of the fact.”

*******************************

His ‘mom’ is deceased - I must be missing the sarcasm/joke here. Perhaps by ‘mom’, he meant ValJar.

The way things are going, I’m convinced that the next president will go down in history next to Reagan because just undoing some of 0bama’s bonehead moves will get the economy roaring and bring down unemployment. This could even possible happen with another Democrat who has some sense of sanity.

I don’t believe it. Why would he do that? The Greenies are just about the only people who still return his phone calls.
