What future? Labor-intensive manufacturing?
The only reason Chinese labor is economical is because it is cheaper than automation - there is no way to bring those jobs back to America, because labor here is more expensive than automation. American industry is more productive than ever, despite employing fewer people, largely because the cost of automation has gotten low enough that it makes sense to replace labor with machines.
China will eventually get to that point too.
Current trade, USA to China: 122 Billion dollars.

It used to be that captains of industry felt a patriotic duty to this nation. They still became wealthy! Now they have sold out to the almighty dollar.
Today’s capitalists take those profits and use them against the good of the nation to amass even more money. This is killing us as a nation!
That little brat Zuckerberg renounced his citizenship but continues to lobby against us!
I am sad for our nation. I don’t know if we can survive this type of betrayal!
