Trayvon Martin's Mother, At UConn, Challenges 'Stand Your Ground'
Hartford Courant ^ | Mar 1, 2014 | Daniela Altimari and Rose Lichtenfels

... The case highlighted Florida's "stand your ground" law, which makes it easier for individuals to use deadly force in self defense by removing the shooter's duty to retreat from a confrontation.

She began her speech by noting that Connecticut law does not have a similar "stand your ground" provision. That, she said, is a good thing.

"It does not work, it is not fair and that's the reason why my purpose, my life work, is to go around the country" and push for the repeal of such policies, she said.

The Lie Campaign continues.

1) Florida's "stand your ground" law was never an issue in this case. Neither the Prosecution nor the Defense made any issue of Florida's "stand your ground" law.

2) There is no mention of Sabrina Fulton applying for trademark protection [1].

3) There is no mention of the development and marketing of the "Trayvon Martin" image by Julison Communications of Orlando, Florida, hired by Sabrina Fulton's attorneys Natalie Jackson and Benjamin Crump. This includes the dissemination of a photo outdated by five years. [2]

“”It does not work, it is not fair “

It did work and was fair. What was unfair was the anti-gun MSM getting on all 4’s due to lib white guilt. Zimmerman is and will always be the victim and not your scumbag gangbanger “son”.

Yeah, it's a great thing for the bad guys.

Trayvon Martin’s mother raised a head banging doper who chose the wrong guy to bang heads on. If more people were armed, there’d be way fewer dopers banging heads.

It's a shame her purpose, her life work, was not to raise a decent, law-abiding son so that George Zimmerman would not have been in a fight for his life against a thug with no morals. It's a good thing GZ was armed and able to use his weapon. Otherwise it was just a matter of time (perhaps months, perhaps seconds) until Sweet Innocent Trayvon would have been a murderer.

Idiot woman. Many Southern states used to have “duty to flee” laws to prevent Blacks from defending themselves against klansmen who would attack a house. The owner would be required to flee out the back into the arms of the waiting mob.

Such “duty to Flee” laws were not used against whites.

George Zimmerman

Trayvon Martin

"And the truth of the matter is, Emmett Till became a symbol for those times, as Trayvon Martin has become a symbol for this time. I mean, there are multiple Trayvon Martins whose names never make the newspapers or the headlines. The circumstances surrounding that allowed it to be, but there were multiple Emmett Tills. There were multiple lynchings. There were multiple, you know, young black boys..." - Oprah Winfrey

" We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin." - President of the United States Barack Hussein 0bama

If this woman spent as much time raising Trayvon as she does exploiting his death, maybe he’d be alive today.

The editors of the Courant saw fit to caption her photo Sybrina Fulton speaks out against "stand your ground" laws that played a role in the shooting death of her son in Florida two years ago.

That paper is so left wing that wrapped fish jump out of it and birds kick it out of their cages.

This fool neglected her child (trayvon) and had someone else raise him. Now this idiot is harping about gun control and other issues. Did someone cancel her EBT card so that she has to exploit the death of her son? What a fool.

Not to mention that stand your ground was not used as a defense in the Zimmerman case. Momma is just a race hustler and a grifter.

Sabrina Fulton did not raise him full time after the age of 2. Trayvon was raised in various ad hoc arrangements. But the media never tell us this.

The media show us Trayvon’s mother and father as if they were an intact family, when in fact, they have not been a couple for many years.

THE MEDIA also never tell us how she can afford to travel and makes speeches and not go to work everyday anymore. Somebody is paying her bills, but the media have no interest in disclosing such information.

I had arranged for Trayvon's Baby-Momma to be wearing the sequin Trayvon Hoodie and to be liberally splashed with our new line of fragrances "Trayvon Soirée," but she done give me the slip, sayin' as how she has not received any royalties for coupla-three months.

I explained that sales was low, but all she kept sayin' was "Show me da money, Honey!"

Let's get with legal and accounting to see if she is due any money, sand if not, let's book her into more venues. That "Trayvon Soirée" scent would frighten away any honkey from "Standing His Ground." Should be a seller!

Seems to me it was her son who used “Stand Your Ground”. He could have fled but he chose to stay and attack Zimmerman.
