This is a link to a posting that appeared on my Facebook Page this morning from a Republican Affiliated / Libertarian affiliated group that was organized to support the Gateway Pacific Coal terminal.

I don't know how to post a picture, but it is the GIF on the page that is of interest. It is a picture of the socialist fist over a housing development. The group, Save Whatcom uses variations of a green fist, rather than the red fist, but it is still a fist.

Some of you are aware that I have had differences with the Whatcom County Republican Party over the coal terminal. This should explain why. The Whatcom County Republican Party has been taken over by union members, including the ILWU, an openly communist union that features the socialist fist on most of their posters and communications, but this has to be a first for a Tea Party organization.

Hmm, they deleted the post after I posted it to my Facebook page and sent it to some friends. Do you know how to take a screen shot, I forget. You Command and something else. I still have the window open on my lap top.

Yesterday, I remarked on the Save Whatcom page about all the socialist fists appearing on notices from a Republican affiliated group and they deleted all of those and replaced it with the Tea Party notice, which I shared on my Facebook page. I guess someone saw it and took it down.

If you go to their main page and click on the link on the list to the right of recent posts it is #5. Click on that and it’s still there.

The imagery is unfortunate but I glanced (quickly) through the texts and that part seemed OK, but I admit up front that I was NOT thorough when reading it.

Between now and 2016 I suspect we will see hundreds of faux Tea Parties.

But it is not just the Tea Party, it is the County Republican Party. They have been taken over by union members who are dedicated to pushing this coal terminal through and are killing the Republican Party because of it.

At one of the Central Committee Meetings, where I tried to warn people about the coal terminal, the man whose father-in-law founded SSA, the ILWU company who is developing the coal terminal was present. The spokesperson for the coal terminal was allowed a whole meeting to give his presentation, but the Chair person would not allow me to even speak. Lu Ann Van Werven is now the Vice Chair at the State level of the Republican Party and she was instrumental in pushing the coal terminal endorsement through.

It is even worse than that, but the story is too long to tell here. All that I can say is that the Republican Party in WA State is in big trouble. Locally, we have a former head of the local teachers’s union, an ILWU member, a member of the Rail road workers, a teamster and a whole lot of others on the Central Committee and one of the few remaining Republican representatives is an SEIU member.
