Americans may not be able to agree on immigration reform, or education policy, or military spending — but on gays, they’re speaking loud and clear: More and more are approving of same-sex marriage than ever before, Pew Research found.

Between 2003 and 2013, overall support for gay marriage has risen by 21 percentage points — from 32 percent in 2003 to 53 percent in 2013, Pew’s Public Religion Research Institute found, in a survey released on Wednesday.

I’d like to see a Doctor Oz show with graphics describing what sexual practices are basic in both male and female homosexuality, and the resulting physical risks of each. Never happen but until it can be discussed, “gays” are in a civil rights mode.

Studies show that most young people believe that homosexuals encompass over 25% of the population and given the constant gay drum beat, who can blame them?

I used to be in the middle on this. Don't ask don't tell was a good solution... I served with some queers but they weren't ostentatious about it and did their jobs well - but then came Obama/Holder.

We had a few on the ship some were caught playing Rump Ranger in the rack. The Old Man would have the orders off ship being typed while Air Dept was setting the plane up for a fly off. Others I suspect kept their activities off ship.

What cemented my disapproval is the way they've treated business owners across the country. Now you can send them all to Gitmo for all I care.

I'm real sick and tired of seeing every single aspect of any event "GAYED" and made Homosexual News and a Homosexual Event. The perverts are in your face to GOD as well stealing the symbol of GOD's promise not to flood earth again.

I hope pretty soon they start receiving some well earned radical backlash for the sake of our nations very survival. The Extortion Tactics being used against both business and private individuals for not bowing to their every demand violating others moral conscience needs to either be stopped in court or by whatever other means required to accomplish this.

That said I had a friend in high school I found out years later was gay. I fished with him etc. He never once showed and hint to his preferences to me. Those are the gays I can tolerate and say that's your own private business. Others? I've had enough!!!

It doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes a family. When parents don't dare speak out against this crap for fear of losing their jobs or being shunned, the kids get their 'guidance' from lousy sources.

I'm not ruling out sampling bias in the poll, but with some churches reducing their objections or even catering to the homosexuals, there is little guidance indeed.

Every one of the high school kids in my Sunday School class did not know that homosexuality is a sin.

It pretty much has to be taught at home and in Sunday school/church, they sure aren't going to hear it at school.

I have two teens at home, boy 14, girl 15, they both know that homosexual acts are sins, both find homosexuals disgusting. I'm trying to teach them to hate the sin but love the sinner. It's not the easiest concept to accept, even for some adults.

I teach older adults, they seem more understanding and accepting of the concept.

The problem is most Americans don’t know any gays. Most of them leave where they live and go to the largest cities in the USA. So there is a major disconnect between reality and fantasy. One evening in a bathhouse would send the numbers plummeting...

When my two older sons were about 12 and 13 years old, along with my sister's son who was about the same age, they asked me one day about AIDS.

I took the occasion to tell them about it and by far the most common way it is spread, I spared no details and told them in graphic but not profane language just what it is that homosexual men do to each other. They all with one voice agreed that that was filthy and disgusting.

The homos got their panties in a twist at Phil Robertson not simply because he said homosex was a sin but he got graphic about what it is they do to each other, using words like "penis" and "anus".

He was letting people know that homosexuality was much more than two men hugging each other and holding hands, maybe kissing each other on the cheek once in a while, that it actually involved disgusting, filthy and dangerous acts not the santitized version that liberals try to portray to the public.

Personally, I think sodomy is the least of it! Their disgustingly lewd behavior in rest stops and bathhouses, their filthy language and obsession with excrement and their unprotected sex with pathetic male hustlers. The chronic drug-taking and alcoholism. The black eyes that turn up at work after a night out of the town. (Why the cuts on the faces and black eyes? Making passes at straight men or fighting among themselves? I never knew!)They are beyond belief.

There are decent gay men out there. I know some of them and have suggested to many people to read the Gay Patriot blog.

People need to educate themselves. Not everybody grows to adulthood in the New York City of the 1970s...
