I do, perhaps not completely for the sake of our allies but for the standing of this country. BTW when I say allies I mean those Afghanis, who put all their eggs in the US basket and supported us at the risk of their own lives, as well as those we’re protecting from the Taliban. We’re there now and need to finish the job one way or another. As it is we’re not only turn coats and liars we’re quitters too.

Obama is a perfect 0-2 on Status of Forces agreements. So would you rather leave troops in Iraq or Afghanistan under conditions where they could be arrested and tried by the local authorities if a civilian go killed?
To: ColdOne
Yes, admit defeat and bring our brave troops home. Why should we lose one more arm or leg or life in Afghanistan? Our few troops that are left have become cannon fodder and target practice. They no longer have a “MISSION”.
BRING THEM HOME NOW, before Obama kills or maims any more troops.

When will the majority of America realize that King Obama is a rotten communists black Muslim. He has destroyed much of America now, so it speaks that hundreds of millions of Americans are brain dead fools to support this communists.
To: Tallguy
Because he is an islamist murderer. Fairly simple. And he ain’t nowhere near done.

...but he will leave behind large numbers of “Welcome Back!” banners for the Taliban. They’ll be carefully rolled-up and stored in the classrooms at various girls’ schools — because the girls won’t be needing those any more...

...or hell be a constant force on the international news circuit as some kind of authority on human rights or international interventions or some such crap I'd rather the taliban "Trotskyize" him than see that happen.

Obama never WANTED to leave any forces behind, and deliberately sabotaged the SOFAs, IMO.

After reading the book about Josiah Harlan, I've concluded that the place is beyond help. Nothing has changed in nearly 200 years there.

Amen. If we are going to have terrible ROE's...I would rather us bring every single American home today...than leave ANY over there as fodder.

No, and I wouldn’t. But Karzai’s survival depends on the future goodwill of the United States and Obama basically didn’t make that point. Failed in Iraq, too.

The media ignores the Soldiers that are killed every week in Afghanistan. I always say a dead politician for every dead solider and I mean it. You can follow the war on this site.

I wonder what he has told State as they have a very large Embassy compound in Kabul and a Consulate in Herat.
To: Tallguy
But Karzais survival depends on the future goodwill of the United States and Obama basically didnt make that point. Or maybe Karzai didn't agree. Regardless, and not that I care at all about Karzai or what happens to him, it's the Afghan refusal to sign an agreement that is the issue. Without one our troops are too vulnerable. So without one I don't think we can afford to have a single one there.
Failed in Iraq, too.
You are aware that the U.S.-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement was signed by George Bush right? And all Obama did was leave two weeks early?
To: ColdOne
Fine by me. HIgh time to let those 7th century barbarians get back to tending their opium and raping and killing each other with great abandonment.
