These days you have Free Trade Communists running around cheerleading this stuff. Back when this treaty passed...folks would have had serious rope burn around their necks supporting this.

This was my first awareness of any political issue...and in middle school at time. The critics of this treaty were proven right

No it didn't and no GOP Senators lost their jobs.....And in retrospect, given the billions of dollars in renovation of the canal that is being paid by the Chinese, they saved the U.S. lots of bucks........

The Panama Canal was returned to Panama, however it is #44 on the NWO list to Internationalize, in other words take from Panama for the UN to manage for all countries? Is that what they mean by “Internationalize” now?

So the US giving it back to Panama may not have been a good idea. Poor Panamanians, always get the short end.
