A campaign for the European Union to become a “United States of Europe” will be the “best weapon against the Euroskeptics”, one of Brussels’ most senior officials has said.
Viviane Reding, vice president of the European Commission and the longest serving Brussels commissioner, has called for “a true political union” to be put on the agenda for EU elections this spring. “We need to build a United States of Europe with the Commission as government and two chambers—the European Parliament and a ‘Senate’ of Member States,” she said.
Mrs. Reding’s vision, which is shared by many in the European institutions, would transform the EU into superstate, relegating national governments and parliaments to a minor political role equivalent to that played by local councils in Britain. Under her plan, the commission would have supremacy over governments, and MEPs in the European Parliament would supersede the sovereignty of MPs in the House of Commons. …

You know, the Benelux countries, Belgium especially, ought to be absorbed into Germany and France, and those fanatical one staters squashed like bugs. How the little “Brussels sprouts” are able to weald such enormous influence over Pan European issues is breath taking to watch!
Scary is that anyone supporting Globalism and Free Trade want this kind of nonsense.

I've spent a good deal of time listening to Nigel Farage...particularly the speeches he's made from the floor of the European Parliament (which are easily found on youtube).Farage is no more "extreme" than was Reagan or than is Governor Palin.
The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. …This ideology is as dangerous in that capacity as Islam.
