Algore Used Traffic Jam Tactic Against Bill Bradley in New Hampshire
RUSH: By the way, on the Chris Christie business, there's this interesting story that's divulged in The Daily Caller. The brief version of this is that back in 2000, an operative for Algore organized a traffic jam during the New Hampshire primary to try to help Gore against Bill Bradley. The traffic jam kept Bradley voters from voting. This wasn't just inconveniencing some people on the George Washington Bridge.

This was somebody who created a traffic jam so that Bill Bradley voters couldn't show up and vote in the 2000 New Hampshire primary. The Gore operative who did this is a man by the name of Michael Whouley, W-h-o-u-l-e-y. I guess it's Whouley, might be Whouley. Anyway, know what he's doing today? He's a top advisor to Hillary Clinton -- and back then, when the story surfaced in 2000, the media said, "Ah, this is just some good clean fun among the Democrats.

This was a brilliant tactic that this guy used, a brilliant idea on the part of the Gore campaign to thwart the effort of Bill Bradley efforts to get to the polls, New Hampshire primary." There wasn't any federal investigation. There wasn't an investigation at all. It is called voter suppression, but when Hillary and Gore were doing it to benefit themselves, that's just fine. That's like Clinton lying and marveling at how good he is at it.

That's like Nina Burleigh offering Clinton a Lewinsky or two as thanks for keeping abortion untouched. Remember that, Nina Burleigh, TIME Magazine? So when the Democrats do these things, it's smart politics. It's good, clean fun, and, "Isn't that clever?"

I’m not sure that was the final blow, but it was a very stupid thing to do. First of all, you don’t want to give a guy like Obama a photo op he can game at your party’s and efforts’ expense.

Just be too busy to meet with him publicly. If he wants to drop by the office, great. Otherwise, pound sand.

What bothers me about this ‘traffic jam gate’ is that it’s a flimsy excuse to take Christie down. No love is lost here for me with regard to Christie, but we don’t do ourselves any service if we allow the media to take this guy down. Next time it will be someone we do like.

Too many people are willing to jump on board the good ship ‘trash Christie’ right now. He doesn’t deserve our support for his Leftist actions. It has nothing to do with traffic.

The Democrats and the media have latched on to this thing, and they won’t let go. Think of all the scandal swirling around Obama that they have to walk over as they go for Christie’s throat.

The media cant imagine Christy walking with Obozo as a negative so they think he is a very viable candidate. The media’s goal is to destroy or disqualify ANY potential Repub candidate they think has a chance in hell of beating a RAT. Preferably they want to destroy them long before there is even a primary. That leaves only very weak candidates for the RATs to run against.

I remember reading about a great political dirty trick G. Gordon Liddy did when he was a political operative in the late sixties.

When he got wind that there was going to be a big Democratic Party rally in Harlem, he took one of their flyers, wrote "Free Beer!" across the top and plastered copies all over Harlem.

Thousands of thirsty, pissed off people showed up and ruined the whole shindig.

I agree with Rush. When he embraced the fool he did himself in. Christie showed his true colors. Just like most politicians today; it’s about themselves. I, for one, and sick and tired of their petty little childish games with each other. Didn’t their parents teach them anything about being decent and moral? I am tired of self absorbed people in politics or not. I am tired of people who think they are so much better than others they believe they can act like God. Guess, self absorbed fools, you aren’t. God is forever, you are only a mere mortal after it all washes out.
