The GOP needs to get real about winning. They need to pick a candidate that represents the party attitudes and is unwavering in adherence to them.

They need to throw out all the wannabes and egomaniacs that are popping up and will make another mess out of the primaries( McCain again??? Huntsman???).

They need to represent the whole country including the heartland not just the beltway.

They need a candidate who sees the future of our country, not the Republican party as the first priority

It won’t matter who they run if the GOP gets the amnesty it’s been so ardently and irrationally trying to shove down America’s throat. If amnesty passes you can turn out the lights at the RNC forever. America will become a socialist, third-world country overnight, at least in terms of voting behavior. I’m really scraping to find somewhere to go if the worst happens. The Chileans lost their minds this past election, and Belize and Costa Rica may be getting a little crowded.

There are NO ‘True Conservative’ candidates existing anywhere on this side of the horizon.

All ‘candidates’ identifying with the Republican Party are, by definition and irretrievably, outside the scope of ‘True Conservative’-ness.

No Republican ‘candidate’ will be presented, for election to National Office by the GOPe, that is capable of fulfilling the ideological, philosophical, ethical, moral or political Goals of ‘True Conservatives’.

The GOPe apparatchiks MUST — in self-interest and self-defense — cripple, maim, neuter, discredit or otherwise ‘eat’ any ‘True Conservatives’ who offer themselves up as fodder in the Primary Phase of the election process.

The MSM need not lift a finger, breathe a word or otherwise ‘act’ to facilitate the GOPe program to destroy or simply ‘dismiss’ any ‘True Conservative’ aspiring to ANY National Office under the auspices of the ‘national’ Republican Party.

There is NO Republican Party ‘solution’ leading out of the existing national political malaise.

Anyone still holding opinions contrary to ANY of the above is IMONSHO still ‘Stuck on Stupid’, lost in a fog of wishful thinking or simply hasn’t been paying attention since 1988.

Opposition to Amnesty and Gun Control.
Repeal of Obamacare.
Curtailment the National Surveillance State.
Re-establish fiscal responsibility.

This is a minimum. Anything less and I skip the president line of the ballot altogether (no, I won’t vote Losertarian - they support Amnesty). The Democrats can preside over the destruction of the USA. I don’t want to vote for ‘Pubbie who just throttles back a little as we approach the cliff.

Mike Pence has the best experience (Congressman, Governor AND talk show host). He doesn’t even need a teleprompter!

All good reasons...and pretty much my requirements.
