IMO it's much,*much* different for a Pope to "peddle" wealth redistribution than it is for the likes of Osama Obama to do it.My understanding of Christ's teachings (10.5 years of Catholic school) clearly shows that charity was at the top of His list of vital responsibilities for His flowers...along with several other things.I have no problem with any Christian clergyman reminding me of this...particularly if that clergyman doesn't mention government,or taxes and doesn't express support for Marxist politicians while so doing.

Being told by Osama Obama & Pals,OTOH,that I "didn't build that"....well,I think I should take my blood pressure meds before I continue.

An income tax is not the same as a wealth tax.

Income is for workers, and an income tax is a tax on the acquisition of wealth.

A wealth tax is a tax on current assets.

Now do you expect that those “wealthy democRAT donors” are going to support a wealth tax, or a raise in income taxes.

The true goal of an income tax is to inhibit the ability to acquire wealth, not to redistribute wealth from those who already have it.
