It was a great broadcast. His beliefs were evident back then and are as true as ever today.

Reagan had his good points for sure, but he rarely did his homework, and we are still saddled with the treachery of Anthony Kennedy even after Sandra Day O’Connor has retired. Those two more so than not overruled Reagan’s good policies.

I watched some of it last night but Buckley was so annoying, the way he was sitting and leaning, he looked drunk to me, so I changed the station. Don’t know why so many people loved that guy. Between his accent and gestures, I couldn’t watch. Reagan, however, was great, of course.

I watched part of it. There were some great exchanges between them.

I don't know much about Buckley, and I guess I should learn more, since Reagan had a lot of respect for him.
But Ronald Reagan is the model we need to follow, and that's a hard-learned fact.

I liked listening to Reagan, just not Buckley.
