A&E charts new path onto the shoals at low tide...
Those directors have very spicy language, with the F word peppering every other expression. They have the right idea though, A&E will most likely be the ones to back down and apologize to the Ducks sometime after Christmas. Some in Hollywood think this was a ‘rookie mistake’ to have suspended Phil so instantly, so publically. I would agree.

That’s because Phil’s foundation is his relationship with Christ. The Lord is the One he fears offending. A&E and the rest of the media-entertainment cabal are an afterthought.
It’s not just the Robertsons. Finally, FINALLY, Americans are standing up for our right of free speech and defending each other.
For a long, long time, we have bent the way the homosexuals, Muslims, and race baiters have wanted.
ENOUGH!
Personally, I don’t care if you’re a homosexual. I don’t care if you’re a Muslim. I don’t care if you are an AGW believer. I don’t care if you love or hate war. I don’t even care if you are a blatant racist.
I’m not going to allow you to decide what I feel, what I think and what I say.
The A&E guy who made the decision to drop Phil was once a Gay porn star. Knowing that makes the whole thing easier to understand. The Gays had this scumbag on speed dial.
Therein lies the challenge: will we allow immoral people to redefine morality?
Homosexuality is immoral by definition, and those who join in trying to redefine morality are likewise immoral.
One thing that the money-is-meaningless crowd should take from this: the golden rule. The Robertsons have the gold and can make the rules.
Speaking of parables,
How about one strong man saying something that has needed to be said for years, and refusing to back down?
And thus starting a powerful resistance to the political correctness and cowardice that has been threatening to bury this country?
Sometimes I get pulled into things that are prescient. A redneck now has America’s limelight... I would not be surprised if as many know who Phil Robertson is as Barack Obama. (Phil Robertson for president?) I called myself redneck when I joined FR, many many moons ago, because I was part redneck. Later I wrote a song called “Rednecks Built America.” And now I have been doing more musical stuff along those lines including “Redneck Revolution” and “A Humble Redneck I Was Born” (I think there is a good argument to be made that Jesus was born as a redneck of his day).
Redneck (in its good sense) transcends a race thing. It’s an attitude. You work hard, even to your own hardship or risk, without concern about what others might think of your glamor or lack thereof, and ultimately it’s for the sake of love, of doing what love does (which is to be gainful and build). Phil is that kind of redneck. I glorify the Lord for Phil, but the only special thing about him is that God put him in this place at this time. It could have been another redneck for all we know. God plans things in mysterious ways.
