Boycott A&E Until Phil Robertson is Put Back On Duck Dynasty on Facebook.

...Duck Dynasty is one of our favorite television programs. Obviously, we are not alone. Duck Dynasty has been a ratings success for the A&E television network. It averages 14 million viewers an episode. The question the main stream media should really be asking is - why? Maybe, just maybe, if they paid attention, they might learn something about this wonderful Nation and the longing in the human hearts of real, regular folks. Perhaps if political observers paid attention, they might actually recognize a growing resistance movement...
I am tired of the agendas of the Cultural Revolution winding their way into much network television programming.
The reality is this salt of the earth, down to earth Christian father, grandfather and faithful patriotic American, with his wonderful, blunt and true witness of a conversion to the Lord Jesus Christ, is being pilloried by many who now propose nothing less than a Cultural Revolution in America and the West. ...
To all of that I say, "You go Phil". Duck Dynasty and the GQ Interview of Phil Robertson is a refreshing rejection of Political Correctness...

Update: Though the network did not release a full statement upon suspending the Patriarch of the Robertson family indefinitely from the show, Phil Robertson offered these words in a Press release:
"I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior," he said. "My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.
"However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other."
Our side needs to start taking on the media.
We have stood for too long to one side, letting the left take over our national conversation.
Time for conservatives, to take over media. For real.
Stop standing on one side. Bring back American jobs, and bring back American media.
And part of loving each other is being very clear about all sin, and the need of the Saviour. It’s not love when sin is glossed over - love means telling the truth and helping someone out of sin.
One by one good people are being picked off. It needs to stop.

Not sure the rest of the family is going to take that lightly. I also think a&e is going to find out who the REAL majority is in this country through emails, phone calls and letters complaining about Mr. Phil being “suspended” from the show.............whatever that is. Sounds like this might get contractual before it’s all over.

I am doing what I can. Last night I wrote an email to A& E informing them of my displeasure and that I would no longer watch their channel nor patronize their sponsors until Phil was reinstated. There was an earlier thread where Freepers listed the sponsors of Duck Dynasty and A &E. Today I will begin contacting the sponsors and informing why I will no longer patronize them.
The number one show on cable? A&E will either have to cry uncle or another channel will find a way to pick up the . . . actors/people/whatevertheyares.
I have cable (free), but it isn’t hooked up to the tv. I don’t have time to watch, so I know very little about the show other than these shows about watching other people live while you sit on your butt and don’t live seems weird to me.
It sounds like these guys are okay and they’ll kick butt. A&E will fail if they burn their number 1 show for the gaystopo.
Phil knows what he is doing. I read somewhere a couple months ago that he didn’t plan on being on the show much longer. As we can see, he is a man’s man, he knows right from wrong and he does his best to do right. I think Jase is somewhat like his dad.
As for being a believer, he is way ahead of me but I know right from wrong and try to do that. It will be interesting to see how the scummy producers handle this because I think they are on the wrong side and they won’t want to lose their “goose that’s laying the golden eggs”
I have my ideas about the outcome but it will be interesting to see what happens when they don’t have control of the characters.

That is by design, to keep us silent. Perhaps we need to overwhelm them with voices; too many to isolate.

I consider homosexual acts and discussions about it disgusting. I am being told I do not have a “right” to that opinion. The hell I don’t! And the people banning Robertson are not just messing with his rights, they are messing with MY RIGHTS as he and I agree on his position. For me, it is tIme to stop being pushed around by minorities and start imposing MY OPINIONS on them...and it is my way or the highway, no negotiation to the center, no moderation of thought (always moving any issue LEFT). “They” are only a sick 6% of the population. Homosexual acts and pro legislation are morally wrong. That is my opinion and I’m not caving to political correctness and liberal feel gooders. All my life I’ve stayed quiet on this issue...quiet no more! ...and don’t try to tell me I’m wrong!
I think we have a perfect comparison right in front of us ... compare and contrast ... who better reflects the American image of a 'man' ...
