Military retirees are outraged that Congress will start voting Thursday on a budget deal that trims military pensions, calling the move "an egregious breach of faith."

The Military Coalition, some 27 military groups, wrote to leaders in Congress and President Obama late Wednesday about their "strong objection" and "grave concern" over the budget deal.

This isn’t a case of “cut everything else but leave mine alone”

They are not cutting the vast fakers getting disability payments, or the massive welfare money tree. I could insert many govt programs that are draining our tax dollars.

When those programs are cut, then I will be ok with this baloney.

75% is an interesting figure because that is the approximate rate of EBT card users whom I observe in the supermarket check-out line either buying food I can’t afford, driving away in cars I can’t afford or (most often) both.

Any doubt now? America is finished and will never recover. Oh, by the way, miss Romney yet?

I know military members both close family and friends. Many are making other plans as their reenlistment come up. The drain on the force is going to be enormous.

Obama will never bail out the military. They don’t vote the right way.

It’s a gut figure to be sure. I realize there are people who need relief due to infirmary or something out of their control.

Whatever this groups comprises, be it 5% or 25%, the rest need to be weened off the government spigot. Cut the amount by 5% each month. In twenty months these folks need to find a way to support themselves.

In truth, if they cut it by 2.5% per month, that would still mean that in two years 50% of the greater welfare costs would be gone. In four 100% of the greater welfare would be gone.

Even in one year, over 25% would be gone. Not bad at all...

Fibromyalgia is real, but like chronic backpain, many freeloaders fake it because it’s easy to fake.

Fibromyalgia is often (if not an exclusive) a psychological symptom of an underlying disorder, whether known or unknown. The disorder could even be another psychological disorder itself.

Fibromyalgia is like the side affect of a ‘statin’ drug, but without taking the drug.

That’s the “Holiday Inn” version.

Fibromyalgia is not fake. Its a diagnosis of exclusion. Meaning the doctors don’t know whats wrong so they call it fibromyalgia.

Not to say there aren’t people who are faking disability.

There are a bunch of high performing companies in finance and business who cut their bottom performing staffers by 5% every year. We could do the same with our government employees and least deserving welfare cases.

Though your math is slightly off. 2.5% cut the first month would leave only 2.5% of 97.5% to cut the next month, 2.5% of 95.06% to cut the following month, and so forth. But the basic idea is sound.

Simplest way to cut spending in the Military is to stop moving everyone every 2-3 years.

PCSing a family costs a ton of money. Paid moving truck. cash allowences, about 4-5 weeks in lst productivity.

Keep people in their assignment for 4-5 years.

Yes I am.

Phantom pains
Psychosomatic attacks

This is what fibromyalgia used to be called.

True pain has a cause. And it ain’t fibro. Maybe it’s a wheat allergy, or something else.
Many of these people had a real problem but the dr labels it fibromyalgia.

Now of course the patient can be prescribed pain meds and opiates.

If the patient didn’t have a long term problem, well they sure have one now.

Not to mention the many fakers who use this as their go to issue.
There is no way to test for it, and easy to say you have it.

The reason your wife didn’t get disability is because she didn’t have dr’ s who lied well enough on the paperwork.

I’m sorry if she was truly in pain. The cause was then never diagnosed properly.
