In hundreds of media interviews, I’ve stated that even though Obama was my college classmate at Columbia University , Class of 1983, and we shared the same majors (Political Science and Pre-Law), I never saw, met, or heard of him. But the media has this story wrong too – I’ve never said that my conclusion is Obama did not go to Columbia . On the contrary, I believe Obama graduated Columbia and we are classmates.
Where was he hiding for those Columbia years? My educated guess is he was smoking pot and attending communist meetings, plotting the downfall of America and capitalism. Don’t laugh, it worked!
While that was just an educated guess, Obama’s own autobiography backs me up – he personally admitted often attending Socialist Party meetings at Cooper Union in downtown Manhattan . With Obama, even your wildest guesses are often proven true.
But forget why he wasn’t seen at Columbia , the real mystery is how he ever got into Columbia . Stay with me – because this ties into the whole “foreign born” story.

Makes sense, but as a “foreign student” from Indonesia, woudln’t it have been more consistent to go by Barry Soetoro than Barack Obama?

I am still not convinced that he was born in Hawaii.
He was claiming to be a foreigner to scam the system of student grants....
WAR is a “colleger”.
Which is why his passport records were “inappropriately accessed” and his college records are sealed. FR knew these things in 2009.
Someone needs to get those Columbia records. Somehow. Now would be the perfect time. He’s at his weakest... so far.

It almost seems impossible that Obama was born in Hawaii or anywhere in the United States.
We need to Root out the truth and impeach.
I did not go to Columbia, but I have suspected Mr. Root is correct since his initial campaign.
It won’t make any difference now, but I suspect we will learn more after Obama is out of office. It only takes one person out of many to tell the truth.
FWIW - the statute of limitations is long since expired on any fraud and I don’t think there is an official application for the President to obtain his security clearance.
Neither am I. As a matter of fact, I am not convinced the child in the pictures that have been released are photos of the occupant of the White House. It isn’t the same face.
I have thought this to be the most likely scenario for some time. But this, along with all of the other theories out there in birther land are missing a critical ingredient: evidence.
Obama has gone to great lengths to destroy or put out of reach all of the evidence of the critical years and events. The only stuff left are little scraps that support his invented past.
If this is true, the birthers will have achieved a remarkable historic first. Their tireless efforts and never ending pet theories were indispensable to the success of the Obama fraud and they helped assure his election twice. Quite remarkable given that they all despise the man and what he has done to this country.
Root has balls. I’m surprised the IRS just audited him. He could have easily been dispatched like Ron Brown did.
It wasn’t as hard to get into an Ivy league school thirty-odd years ago as it is now. Being a football player or being black were huge bonuses, then as now.
My sister-in-law transferred into Columbia about twenty-five years ago and got her degree. Smart girl but previously a slacker - no special connections, achievements or race. It just wasn’t that hard back then.

Sounds as though she didn't go to Columbia College, but rather the School of General Studies. Admission to the College WAS that hard back then.
