Full title:

Woman, 21, on Louisiana adventure to 'figure out life' is found murdered and dumped in a bayou after asking strangers for ride

The body of Lindsay Louise Ellixson, 21, was found in a canal in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Saturday by fishermen

She had been killed by blunt trauma to the head, neck and chest and had been in the water between two and five days

Ellixson had been on an extended trip 'exploring the world', with her adoptive mother, Catherine Ellixson, saying she 'had a lot of struggles she needed to overcome'

Social media posts show Ellixson pleading for 'a ride and somewhere to stay' in the months before her death, also listing herself as 'engaged'

Her boyfriend, Clinton Allen Head, 31, said they were never 'officially' engaged but were 'in love'

Her heartbroken father, Chris Ellixson, said: 'She's looking down on us, smiling, wishing us a happy Thanksgiving.'

The FBI are hunting the killer responsible for the murder of 21-year-old Lindsay Louise Ellixson, whose badly beaten body was pulled from a bayou in Louisiana following a 'brutal and violent' death.

Originally from Orlando, the girl known for her 'big blue eyes' was traveling the country after high school trying to 'figure things out', according to family, when she was found by fishermen about 3pm Saturday in East Baton Rouge.

Investigators say she had been in the water for two to five days, with an autopsy revealing she was killed by blunt force trauma to the head, neck and chest.

The case has been classed as a homicide.

'She was beaten to death and left there,' Chief of Investigations Shane Evans told WFTV.

'Someone did this to her and put her there.'

'It was unusually brutal and violent.'

The victim's adoptive mother, Catherine Ellixson, said that she kept

You can’t get your kids to do what you want but I think they listen, even if they do a good job of pretending that they don’t. I have tried to pound common ‘horse’ sense into my kid for 20 years. It is beginning to pay off.

In my world travels, I've learned that our children, after growing up in the average non-black American community, just aren't prepared for life in the real world.

Someone who's grown up in the black community has already encountered crime levels as bad or worse than most parts of the world outside of Africa and the Caribbean.

This mentality stems from the pbs type stuff of if you only sympathize with someone’ and plight they will be nice back. Dora had and episode with angry troll and he let them pass since they were nice to him. Last time kids watched it.

And I have found liberals tend to think the same way.

Crime stateside is a directly proportional to the size of the black population. Louisiana’s black population is 32% compared to 13% nation-wide. Baton Rouge is majority black. What are the odds that she was picked up by a bunch of Obama’s notional sons who raped and then beat her to death, figuring that nobody would be the wiser about their involvement, since they were complete strangers to each other? I’d say very high.

This is extremely dangerous stuff. The antidote (against murderous real-life trolls) is John Derbyshire's The Talk.

An unusually brutal murder usually tends to indicate that the murderer(s) knew the victim.

‘And I have found liberals tend to think the same way.’

Right as autumnraine! And in addition, they refuse to think any other way. Recently, I enjoyed a Youtube video of Milton Friedman shredding Phil Donahue on basic economics. What I found most interesting was that Donahue was not there to debate or be open minded. He was there to champion his liberal viewpoint. When Friedman shot him down, Phil simply changed the subject and moved on to another liberal mantra, hoping and trying in vain to score points. At the end of the show, with every socialist line of attack exposed for the lies they were, Donahue didn't concede that his world view was wrong. He just didn't think, only aped.

I worked with a guy, his brother decided to hitchhike across the country to “find himself”.

Serial killer found him first.

When you are a young woman, really a girl, the only place to figure out life is at home with watchful parents, books and Sinday Church. And nice young men calling and girlfriends.

Sinday Church? Really?

An unusually brutal murder usually tends to indicate that the murderer(s) knew the victim.

Or it indicates that it was a hate crime, see the Christian-Newsome horror

You might have a point if her body was found in Orlando, close to her home. But she had no friends in LA, as noted by her plea for a place to stay.

How could she be 21 and still not aware that the world is a dangerous place?

There are safe ways to experience the world. For instance, I became an exchange student in France at the age of 17, where I lived with French families for a year and had a great horizon-expanding experience. Why didn’t that girl choose something like that?

Not working and not learning how to support herself? Not going to college/grad or trade school? Just sitting at home, mooching off her parents, reading, going to church, and talking to her friends about the nice guys who show up to see her every week? That’s depressing.

The young woman you described sounds about as defenseless about life and what it can hand you as the poor woman who died. Neither approach are beneficial.

If you read her entry at the meetme.com dating site as shown at the article link then something will be apparent. This was a girl who’s head was totally destroyed by modern liberal culture. She was doomed.

They were never sure.

It was in the 80’s and there were apparently several serial killers traveling the roads picking up hitchhikers.

Each serial killer had a similar MO so they didn’t know if there was some kind of connection between the killers or if there were copycat killers.

The number of similar killings was in the hundreds IIRC, and they were taking place all over the country some around the same time.

They tried to make the claim Lucas was responsible for something like 600 killings, but that was reduced way down.
