A sick so-called game known as "knockout" -- where teens randomly sucker-punch strangers with the goal of knocking them unconscious with a single blow -- is catching the attention of law enforcement throughout the nation.
"Knockout" can be fatal. In New Jersey, Ralph Santiago, 46, a homeless man, was walking alone in Hoboken on the night of September 10 when he was suddenly struck from behind, said Hoboken Detective Anthony Caruso.
The blow knocked out Santiago, who had a pre-existing brain injury. He suffered a seizure. The victim's body struck a nearby fence, with part of the wrought iron fence piercing his body and killing him, Caruso said.
Surveillance video in the area showed three teens running from the scene. Two weeks later, police arrested the juveniles and charged them in connection with the killing. Caruso said the attack was unprovoked.....

It’s not called a “sucker punch” for nothing, unless you’re holding your gun in your hand ready to fire and watching in all directions, a sucker punch is difficult to defend against.
If you take the above defensive stance the punchers will find an easier victim, right after they call the cops to report you threatening their “peacful” lives with a gun.
Still - better safe than sorry.
There's another difference. Being mugged, or even assaulted, generally implies a motive such as robbery, a grudge, or some such "reason" for targeting a certain individual. These feral youth are simply knocking people out as a bet, on a lark. They're not robbing anybody or assaulting someone they have a beef with: they're just being racist animal thugs.
This is an escalation from "routine" street crime to specifically racially motivated violence.
And if something isn't done about it by our leaders, there will be "blowback"...
Ok... so if i’m walking down the street, and I see a group of black teenagers, am I a racist if I feel unsafe?

It is very easy to defend against. When in proximity of feral BLACK youths you should be aware that you could be in danger. Being around BLACK youths is dangerous and you should avoid any situation that brings you into close proximity to them as you would any wild predatory animal.
This is not racism, it is survival. Are sheep prejudiced because they do not like the company of wolves?

Eventually there will be a higher level of pushback. When something like this happens, all races feel more vulnerable.
That’s when you get the creation of folk heroes, real of imagined. Remember the huge fan base Charles Bronson had during his career? Bronson created a movie empire based on righteous anger and the exacting of revenge. Eastwood has some of those characters as well. People are going to look for a way out of being afraid just to walk down the bleeping street. Many will not, will not accept living like some refuge from a Chicago Gang, not without push back. We wont keep waiting for the President to say anything against his voting base.
it just occurred to me what they are really doing, is publicizing these things as much as possible, while suppressing the racial element, in the hopes that Latinos or Whites will go out and start hitting people — at which time they will triumphantly cry to the heavens that it is just a youth problem in general, and has nothing to do with race.

Not according to this upstanding citizen (who happens to be a middle-aged black guy.) His advice paraphrased:
“If you are white - get a gun. Get a permit, and carry it. And if you see a bunch of n****** walking towards you - shoot them.”
I wouldn’t go that far, but I would be VERY aware of where you are and who is around. And display your weapon, and then call 911 FIRST and tell them how a mob of “teens” threatened you.
He is okay in the beginning, but as he gets more and more riled up against the black thugs his language gets worse.

The C9 is a nice carry weapon as is the .380, while the .45 is serviceable while packing a huge punch for low $. Make sure you get sufficient range time to work out any quirks you can resolve through cleaning and home adjustments to the magazines.

Blacks who are so bored with their worthless lives that they engage in this criminal activity should be incarcerated at Guantanamo as terrorists. Calling it a “game” trivializes it. It should be called what it is, assault.
