Senate Conservatives Fund blames McConnell after Dems go nuclear
Daily Caller ^ | 11/22/13 | Alexis Levinson

-snip-

But on Friday, a conservative group blamed McConnell and what they said was his “weakness” as a minority leader for allowing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to go nuclear.

-snip-

“Harry Reid did this because he knows Republican Leader Mitch McConnell will let him get away with it,” SCF Executive Director Matt Hoskins wrote in an email to the group’s supporters.

“The only way to deter a nuclear attack is to make it clear that the response will be equally devastating. Unfortunately, weakness is the only message Mitch McConnell has sent the Democrats on this issue,” Hoskins wrote.

McConnell’s campaign dismissed that argument as sheer idiocy.

“That argument is so profoundly stupid that it is hard to fully ascertain whether their deficiency is in math or logic,” said McConnell campaign communications director Allison Moore. “It does however help further illuminate why SCF is so bad at what they do.”

-snip-

“Each time Mitch McConnell capitulated, he said it would save the filibuster, but each time it encouraged Harry Reid to go even further. Now radical judicial nominees will sail through on a simple majority vote,” Hoskins wrote.

McConnell, when asked yesterday whether Republicans would now use other methods to stall nominees’ confirmations in retaliation for the move, said: “I don’t think this is a time to be talking about a reprisal. I think it’s at time to be sad about what’s been done to the United States Senate.”

“That’s it?” Hoskins blasted in the email. “Republicans are just sad? If the roles were reversed, Harry Reid and the Democrats would have shut down the Senate by blocking all legislation and by objecting to all procedural requests.”

If IF the GOP becomes the majority, that is exactly what the Rats will do.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (establishment RINOs) are trying to make the argument that taking chances with anyone other than establishment RINOs such as useless Mitch McConnell is risking losing the opportunity to regain voting control in both houses of congress.

BS. We need real conservatives in congress, not establishment hacks who value their perks and pensions far more than the principles they supposedly believe in. What good is re-electing wimps and losers like McConnell if all they do is wave white flags every time Harry Reid takes aim at them? Enough!

The Obama regime must have pile of dirt on McCain, McConnell, and Boehner.
I can’t think of any other reason why they would have morphed into Obama a$$ kissers.
Republican Rinos=Neutered
I can’t stand to look at ‘em anymore.
They disgust me.

I am sad. Very, very sad. I won't do anything. But, look on the bright side - I still want the Sequester to continue to decimate our military, in fact it's the only thing I am sure about......so I got that going for me.

if 0 packs the DC circuit with 3 additional Marxist judges, no GOP senate would dare impeach and remove the 3 additional judges in 2015.
The Republicans themselves are Rinos in name only.

On a global scale as well.

Here is the problem FRiends.

The Minority and the majority leaders are elected in a secret ballot by the members of their party.

Now that means that Boehner and McConnell were both elected by the majority of their party.

What kind of party elects such leadership?

Does not who they elect give a direct reflection of the majority of the party itself.?

If we win the Senate next year Hopefully Mitch McConnell will not be there, but if he is will they elect him Majority Leader? Will they return Boehner?

What have we got if they do?

“I don’t think this is a time to be talking about a reprisal. I think it’s at time to be sad about what’s been done to the United States Senate.”

Well that quote just about sums up everything that’s wrong with the GOPe.

Now is the time to be absolutely furious about what has been done not just to the Senate, but to the entire nation, and to show it. Unfortunately some of that fury has to be directed to these spineless Republican traitors who have let it all happen.

IF the repubs take the senate, the last bit of business in the current senate will be to reverse this rule. Then they will dare the repubs to change it back in the next session.

“I think it’s time to be sad”

These are sad times when homos lead the GOP. There is a pestilence on the land, between Maryland and Virginia ...

It’s sad, so sad
It’s a sad, sad situation
And it’s getting more and more absurd
It’s sad, so sad
Why can’t we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word
What do I do to make you love me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I do when lightning strikes me ...
(Excuse us, our manginas are closing up)
Sniff
Roger the Shrubber, “Tortoise” McConnell and John the Boner
