If only "Republican" Nicolle Wallace would be as critical of Democrats as she is of members of her own putative party . . . On today's Morning Joe, Wallaceadviser to Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaigndecided that in order to praise Republican governors, she had to pound Republicans in Congress.
Wallace took her shot at congressional Republicans in the course of discussing Chris Christie's taking over as head of the Republican Governors Association. Wallace praised Republican governors as "our stars . . . the people that can speak English." In contrast, according to Nicolle, "you go to Washington and somehow Republicans are speaking another language."

I seriously believe Nicolle Wallace would be more comfortable working on Hillary’s campaign than on the campaign of most of the Republicans who will be seeking the 2016 nomination. Ping to Today show list.
That makes them just like the majority of the people now living in this country.
In retrospect, it was more like "minder", unless you want to go for full-blown "saboteur".
Maybe they should ‘Press 1 for English’..................
I think she means that can’t speak Statistese.
She was one of the dumbest press people I ever had the pleasure of working with. She’s a great shmoozer. Went to all the parties with the liberal press in town, but she can’t put two sentences together on paper.
BUMP to that! The statists want to control the language.
If so, she might have a point.
¿Que?
She's absolutely right! We *can't* speak English!
See, it turns out the word "Period" really means, "I am lying about everything I just said. You will NOT be able to keep your health care plans or doctors. Screw you".
And we just never knew.
The elites in both parties appear to operate from the “Where else are they going to go?” perspective.
In the Republican party, at least, the 2012 Presidential election demonstrated that conservatives will stay at home. Clearly, this fact is lost on the GOP-e as the attacks on conservatives by the party continue.
Nicolle who?
What you DO supposedly "get " ... you ignore.
How about Anglo-Saxon, chippy ...
GFY !
D'y unnerstan' THAT one ?
Is that a problem? English has become a second language in this country.
Odd, I’d say there are plenty of Republicans in Washington, DC who can’t speak English, but Ted Cruz is not among them: the RINOs either before the get there or soon after arrival (or after “growning” in the eyes of the MSM and becoming RINOs) all speak Newspeak the same as the ‘Rats.
You know, the language that sounds kind of like English, but in which “health care” sometimes means what physicians provide, sometimes means the same as the English “health insurance”, sometimes means what the English “government-approve health insurance” means; in which “draconian budget cuts” means decreasing the rate of growth in government spending from 5% per annum to 4% per annum,...
Is it just possible that she means that once people are elected and move to D.C. they forget how to speak plainly and engage in double talking mishmash so common to politicians. I did not take it to mean they started speaking a foreign language.
I don’t know. My understanding is that she was comparing the Republican governors vs Congress. The former speak (presumably to the public) with a language that everybody understands (English), the latter communicate with each other and to the public with their own language, that nobody else understands.
...like French!! ...rendre!
Passe vouz le Grey Poupon...
