CALLER: Hi, Rush. Mega Air Force brat dittos.
RUSH: Thank you.
CALLER: I wanted to call and let you know that I'm working in health care. I'm actually a comptroller for a hospital, but I'd heard rumors this was happening. My wife last week had a family doctor appointment with an OBGYN, and one or two of the mandatory questions she was asked is, "Do you own a gun in your house, and do you keep it loaded in your house?" They would not register her as a patient until she answered that question.
RUSH: Now, you had heard that was coming, but you didn't know it was real until yesterday?
CALLER: Well, 'til last week when my wife had that appointment.
RUSH: Last week.
CALLER: She came home and I was shocked.
RUSH: You were shocked, even though you had heard about it before?
CALLER: I heard rumors, but I was like, "There's no way a health care provider is going to ask that kind of question."
RUSH: Unless they are mandated to by the federal government.
CALLER: Well, and I figure it's part of Obamacare, but just the sheer fact that they asked the question and they wouldn't even let her register as a patient until she answered the question blew my mind.
RUSH: Right. Well, that's the tip of the iceberg of the things that they're gonna know about everybody who signs up.

I don’t hunt. I won’t be signing-up for 0care. I’m unemployed, retired, zero income, going on SSI, a smoker, and all my pets are gone. I’m good to Go Galt to Montana.
When we moved to Tennessee and filled out initial paperwork at our doctor’s office, the gun question was on the form. Tennessee... go figure.
Do no mirrors exist in your current environment?

YOU took the thread off topic. YOU jumped in and added your nasty comments in support of one FR’s rejection of another’s presence! YOU have made the thread about YOU!Now if anyone is offended by your derogatory, supercilious attitude and calls you on it, WE have diverted the thread?
You either don’t realize, or don’t care, that you are making the thread about YOU and degrading people who agree with you on the topic! AND you LAUGH about it. You’re coming across as seriously unbalanced.
Please start a blog and make it all about you, then invite only those you deem to be your equals. You’ll have to use that mirror.
NO ONE wants to ‘shut you up’ about the TOPIC-but your derision of fellow Freepers is uncalled for and angers people. That IS your intention,isn’t it?
