By electing Democrat Terry McAuliffe yesterday, Virginia residents narrowly avoided life under one of the most radically anti-choice candidates in recent history, Ken Cuccinelli. (He has compared abortion to slavery.) Thank God women turned out at the polls to defend reproductive justice, just like in 2012, right? Not exactly. The New York Times broke down exit polls by gender and ethnicity, revealing a majority of white women — 54 percent — voted for Cuccinelli, patron of crisis pregnancy centers.
Meanwhile, a whopping 91 percent of black women and 90 percent of black men voted for McAuliffe. According to the Daily Beast, African-American turnout was four percent higher than in 2009, matching Obama's 2012 reelection levels. So much for the mighty single-issue pro-choice voter.
It has occurred to me that a bumper sticker saying “What kind of woman wants to kill her own child?” might get some people to thinking.
And to some here at FR.
Makes it sound like he was going to ride around the state shuttering abortion clinics or something….these people are just SICK!!!

And yet, none of the other poll results point to that, showing that the libtards just played games with the pollster….as they did the entire election.
Because it’s an oft disproven canard and i’m mightily tired of hearing it.
All of that is true…but I’d like to know what kind of conclusions you are drawing from all of it….
As they will every election going forward. They have their system and the template works.
Pro-choice libertarians don’t draw too many votes from Republicans...

Your opinion is noted. However, I think it depends on how Libertarians define themselves. Many economic Libertarians I know would probable vote rep if they had to choose between dem and rep. Libertarians more concerned with social issues tend to vote dem if given no Lib alternative.

My conclusion is that it is possible for a Republican ticket to get a larger share of the non-white vote than either McCain (4%), Romney (6%) or Cuccinelli (8%) received.
President Eisenhower got 39% of the black vote in 1956 and Nixon got 32% in 1960.
Lose the word ‘choice’, you murdering frauds. The opposite of life is NOT ‘choice’, it is DEATH.
Flip Wilson said “the devil made me do it”. These “women” say that they are merely acting in the name of “sexual freedom”.
That’s right...young white women who want their abortion and birth control because they want to be “liberated” from sexual consequences...because they always still love you in the morning, right guys?
And McAwful has proven in the past both with his own wife and Bubba’s leavings that he is SUCH a champion of women....
