Yes, I can hear him saying that clearly. Same with his Carney barker (I always think of Squealer when I see/hear Carney). Thanks for posting this pic...I saw it the other day...weren’t there others in the same vein?
You know something Travis, last night in my prayers I asked the Good LORD to please please don’t let my handsome wonderful husband be a Boxer. How weird is that?
My husband has been working since he was 10 yrs old. Several part-time jobs to feed his family (I’m his second wife) in the early years. Military service. He’s a big strong hard worker. A truck driver. He rarely takes a day off. He has always paid his bills. He’s always the one to say things like “we’ll get through it, I’ll work a little longer or harder.” Just like Boxer. This similarity scares me, frankly. Because we all know how it ended for Boxer.
We’ve been working toward paying off the mortgage early so he can retire a little earlier (at 63 rather than 66) and have some sort of life (hunting and fishing, bless his heart).
Just rec’d our “tax” for the Free Sh** Army thru the healthcare plan at work. Almost a couple thousand extra per year, higher copay/deductible blahblahblah.
A couple of thousand dollars more a year, Travis! But, my husband will most likely have to work an extra year or two to make up for it. And I hate the pigs with a red-hot passion.
God help us all.
Sorry to dump on you!!
IF there is anyway to Go Galt, then Starve the Monkey.
