PRESIDENT OBAMA: Now, if you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed. So we wrote into the Affordable Care Act, you're grandfathered in on that plan. But if the insurance company changes it, then what we're saying is they've got to change it to a higher standard. They've got to make it better, they've got to improve the quality of the plan they are selling. That's part of the promise that we made too. That's why we went out of our way to make sure that the law allowed for grandfathering. (Organizing for Action campaign event, November 4, 2013)

The Democrats have been pushing the limits of stupidity of the American people to the edges of the envelope.
While I seriously doubt that there are finite limits to the seemingly infinite capacity for stupidity of the American people, this is an case where the similarly infinite capacity for greediness and self interest in these same American people intersects with stupid.
For the class of Americans who support Obama and ObamaCare, greed and self interest trumps stupidity every time.
While I still doubt that the Democrats can ever over estimate the boundless stupidity of the American people, the may very well have miscalculated the impact of greediness (especially among the poseur liberals and progressives who are only generous with other peoples money) and self interest in their haste to destroy our existing healthcare system and use the fundamental “Hope and Change “ to force an oppressive and capricious government ruled socialistic (in the Fidel Castro sense) single payer health care system.
If this is the case, the Democrats and few Republicans who have supported this oppressive, big brother health care power grab may find they have really overreached in epic fashion and pay back is going to be something to behold

What I wonder about is just imagine if President Obama and his administration usurp authority in the U.S.
to begin making parachutes, air craft landing gear, auto brake pads, X-boxes, Television satellite dishes, condoms, etcetera. Need I say more?

However the law made the insures change the plan to meet the new requirements, not the insurance companies. Thus when the plan changed it was no longer grandfathered as a valid plan.
In effect Obama Care forced the insurance companies to change their plans and then according to the law and regulations promulgated by Sibelius the plans became new and no longer available to the plan holders.
Obama LIED
A LIAR will CHEAT and a CHEATER will STEAL so he is a LIAR, CHEATER AND THIEF... there is no doubt.
What you do not understand is that we are not “buying” it period. Americans do not like a liar... they will turn on pop culture heroes when they lie... obama is nothing but a pop culture icon that ALWAYS lies... not once or a few times but constantly.
