I know the RINOS caved on debt limit and defunding Bastardcare. But did we lose the sequester too? Anyone know?
remains intact
proof?
Until the holiday surrender.
I heard today from Andrew Wilkow on Mike Church’s show that the sequester is able to be end arounded by the OMB who is under the Executive branch so it’s effectiveness is really minimal.
They did NOT give up the ‘Holy Grail’ (Sequestration)
I doubt that - the RATs would have pushed that already
The sequester has been remarkably efective and that’s from many conservative commentators. I say it remains intact because that’s what they said on TV a little while ago but I guess we won’t really know until we see the bill. Either way we are going broke.
We have to pass it to find out what’s in it.
McConnell said the sequester cuts remain intact in his surrender remarks on the Senate floor.
The sequester caps will be removed in January once R’s see the devastating impact they have on our military
I hope not. The sequestration only lowers the rate of growth in spending, and IMHO the Defense Dept. wastes as much money as any other government agency.
Could you put that in plain English for those of us who don't have a decoder ring?
Come on. Seriously, the only thing that matters is obamaphones work and EBT cards are filled.
The “new deal” extends debt ceiling through Feb 7(Bammy wanted a year) FEDGUVINC is funded through Jan 15.
A new conference set up for long term entitlement reform headed by Paul Ryan and Patty Murray(starts Dec 13)
If no cuts are decided on, sequestrations remains in effect (a good thing-they really kick in Jan. 2014. actual real cut in spending, not just in rates of growth)
Sequester keeps spending to 2008 levels on DISCRETIONARY spending.
Without an actual budget, rats using only Continuing Resolutions cannot increase DISCRETIONARY spending, just the stuff that’s already on ‘auto-pilot’ increase.
