1987 Ad Who’s that kid with the Oreo cookie?

I dunno.
I have an occasional Oreo cookie at coffee hour at church. But I have no desire to snarf down every Oreo on the plate, and then go out and buy huge amounts of Oreos at my neighborhood grocery.
This article sounds like yet another attempt to cover up the truth: science does NOT understand the causation of obesity. It’s a lot easier to blame people for their “addictions” and sic Michelle obama on them than to do the real research.
Phooey!!!!
Just wait for the taxes.
Gotta have milk, too!
“Im just waiting for Quadstuff Oreos.”
They are easy to make by taking two Doublestuff Oreos and putting them together - they come apart much more easily than the regular Oreos. You can eat or (preferably) discard the extra chocolate cookies in the deal.
Of course, there would still be a great reason to buy the Quadstuff - to make Octuplestuff Oreos. I’m getting fatter just thinking about it.
oh nevermind...
Interesting. I just had six of ‘em, with milk. We rarely have them here. I’ll eat them if we have them, but I don’t get the shakes when we don’t. I eat about 30 of them a year...
Bullfeathers, like most of these “studies.”
No, they’re not as addictive as cocaine.
These are “scientists?”

And if they’re as addictive as cocaine, maybe I should give cocaine a try. I thought it was addictive.
So ..
Withdrawal from “oreo addiction” will be dangerous enough to be considered life threatening?
An “oreo addict” will have to constantly increase their volume of consumption, in order to achieve the same effects?
An “oreo addict” will see a progressive downturn in virtually every aspect of their life?
An “oreo addict” will undergo a progressive change to personality that renders the person almost unrecognizable?
An “oreo addict” will see his body functions change as an adaptive response (like alcoholics who eventually become unable to process nutrients, since their bodies adapt in the expectation of using alcohol as a food source)?
This new and improved definition of “addiction” is garbage, and an insult to people suffering from real addiction (changed, incidentally, in order to classify tobacco as addictive, when the older definition of “habit-forming” was actually the accurate classification).
I don’t like Oreos, I just like the smell.
Damn, I’ve been shooting up Oreo cookies for close to forty years..., they’re on to me.
Seriously folks, who makes this S—T up?
So Oreo’s are a gateway cookie to the harder stuff....like Vienna fingers...?
LOL,
Peanut butter cups too...
I guess they’re going to have to have Hydrox clinics to wean the addicts off Oreos!
What absolute horse shit.
