Thanks for the ping, xzins. That was fantabulous. Cruz is unflappable.
Candy Crowley - that’s a man, baby!
bflr
It’s worth the watch. Crowley was exposed as an airheaded administration lackey, spouting Whitehouse talking points (and failing miserably).
“Cruz handled her like she was a bantam weight.”
Now, THAT is saying something!
Candy gave it her best, but she is no match for TC.
LoL! Good one Candy!
Tea Party backed conservatives are our best weapon. They have to be able to present the why's and wherefore's of any issue in a clear consistent manner even though their name and motivation will be questioned and denigrated. Sen Cruz is absolutely top shelf. He has been attacked from all sides and he keeps his cool.
I'm beginning to get the feeling the tide is turning. The country hasn't come to a stand still with the shutdown and at some point the folks who love big govt are going to start worrying that the public will notice and wonder why do we need such a big govt in the first place.
Also, it seems that everyday the Rats are trying to increase the pressure for a settlement. If this is so good for them, why are they in a rush to settle it?
When the debt ceiling crisis kicks in (the rats believe this is their trump card) it will seem bad for the Pubs, but if they keep sending spending bills to the Senate and demand negotiations eventually it will get through to the public who the petulant would be tyrannt's really are.
My hat's off to Bohner as well! He keeps saying there must be negotiations. Good for him, we didn't elect a tyrant. We have a representative republic. The House was elected to represent us and they are doing it, THANK GOD!
I think he would be great!
FWIW, I think the Pubs are benefiting from the emergence of the Tea Party for the very deep bench of solid conservatives. We have Gov.'s Walker, Jindal, Pence that come to mind. We have Sen's Cruz, Lee that come to mind.
He shouldn’t have even agreed to be interviewed by her.
He made the point that even though Obama was elected again, so were all the Republicans in the house. LOL!!!!...”and they have a responsibility to ensure that the funding the house approves is best for the American people!”
Excellent comments!
I agree with you on all counts.
We are never going to be treated fairly by the media, hollywood culture, or the comedians that so many of the younger voters get all their info from, but if the Pubs could just stick with this message we can win.
We live in a representative republic. We are not ruled by tyrants who tell our elected representatives "do it my way way or not at all". If something is going to be done all parties need to have a say in it.
obamacare was forced on us by a bunch of would be tyrants. The Tea Party was born and has been growing ever since. This is an issue that will never be settled until all sides have a say.
I like the fact that Cruz is leaving no stone unturned to get the word out about who is shutting the govt. down. He makes sure everyone knows the truth, including CNN viewers who have been lied to by the reporters.
Unlike most Republicans, Cruz has the gift of plain speaking.
He can explain his position. He is thoroughly believable. And there's no mistaking him for some kind of a wild-eyed radical -- no matter what the MSM might claim.
Thanks for the ping, xzins.
Bon Bon Crowley absolutely got her clock cleaned by Sen. Cruz, it wasn’t even a non partisan effort on her part with the interview.
One thing that really stood out for me was the background of the close ups throughout the entire interview. With Ted Cruz there were moving red and blue lines that distracted from Cruz, with Bon Bon there were none. That is an intentional distraction by CNN and Crowley and is not acceptable, of course being a distraction was why they did it.
Wow, Crowley is a ——! At the end she was about as catty as she could be. Wow, she’s their political pro? hahahahaha! Add that to what Crowley did in the presidential debates...CNN looks pizz poor.
Tip for Crowley—wash your hair.
Great point!
An elected Sen. is called an anarchist, hostage taker (terrorist), blackmailer and goes into the enemy camp and shows he's none of those things. Someone mentioned to me he did the same thing with Dick Gregory on his Sunday morning show a week ago.
If the Pubs stick together they can start the process of re-establishing our representative republic. The rinos have to get some spines and learn to stand with the Tea Party Pubs.
Conservatives that can handle all the manipulation, lies and other garbage the libs and media throw at them are so strong they can handle just about anything. Reagan handled it and he brought down the USSR. We just need to be sure we support these guys with whatever campaign money we can.
You’re absolutely right, conservatives can handle that. Sadly they do it to keep the low information voters from learning the truth and it’s the reason I pointed it out, it’s typical of the enemedia.
