EXCLUSIVE--Palin Rips 'GOP High Roller Machine': 'Their Money Can’t Buy Elections Anymore'

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin blasted the Republican establishment's contempt for and destructive behavior toward the Tea Party during the current budget showdown with the Obama administration.

Palin told Breitbart News that these establishment financiers cannot relate to the average American worker and are throwing a "fit" because Wall Street knows they are in a whole new ballgame where their influence is diminishing.

Palin was responding to an article by David Freilander in Thursday's Daily Beast in which prominent Republican establishment financiers showed disdain for the conservative grassroots while being unable to identify exactly what a "precinct captain" is.

Palin, who started her political career on the local level as an outsider before eventually challenging the GOP establishment in Alaska to become governor, said that the "GOP high roller machine can’t win elections with their cash anymore."

"If they could, all the money they threw at Romney would have paid off," Palin said, referring to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's inability to galvanize the blue-collar conservative base during the 2012 presidential election. "It’s the average American – the grassroots Tea Party patriot with enthusiasm and boots on the ground – who wins elections":

"One or a small group of people can make a difference."

“Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said,
"It made a difference for that one.”

Palin attacking Republican donors at this moment is stupid.

Not necessarily so. The donors are supporting the GOPe who is using the funds to defeat the Tea Party.

We’re in the middle of a battle.

on two fronts, one against the Socialists and the other against the GOPe. Anyone funding and supporting either element is our enemy and subject to attack!!!

In 1945, after 6 long years of warfare with countless millions of victims, civilian and military, Marshal Zhukov's troops fought their way to the top of the Reich Chancellery and planted the Red Flag of Communism as a symbolic fatal thrust of the sword into the heart of Nazism.

In 2013, after approximately 4 1/2 years of looting and pillaging the nation's treasury, relegation of the Constitution to insignificance and the Congress to impotence, President Obama "hoisted" the red flag of Socialism atop our Capitol on October 1, 2013. This act is one of two fatal thrusts into the heart of USA. The second one will be placing a Pinata next to the red flag and granting amnesty to swarms of illegals and their extended families, which he will accomplish with help of the willing "agents of change" infiltrating every fabric of our lives.

Once the economic landscape of our nation has been transformed and our individual rights and liberties suppressed through Obamacare and the forced changes in our culture by the tide of "third world" humanity has taken place, our nation as fashioned by our founding fathers and based on our Constitution will cease to exist.

Obama will go down in history as the greatest conqueror of all times. He will have brought down the mightiest nation, militarily and financially in less than 8 years. He accomplished what the world's greatest despots like Stalin, Hitler and Emperor Hirohito couldn't and he did it without missing any Tee Time.

How can Corporate America bring back jobs? Government America - backed up by Lawyer America, EPA America, Tree-Hugger America and Minimum Wage America - won't let them make a profit by hiring in America. Get rid of insane levels of regulation, high corporate taxation and arbitrary government and watch what happens.

AMEN, FReeper!!!!!! You said it!!! In a nutshell!!!!

Thanks servo1969.

Did she mention that corporations and billionaires disproportionately support both the leftist agenda and the candidates of the Demagogic Party?

It’s time we, the people, stand up and be counted. If enough people rise up, we can shut this UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT down to their knees. Sarah is right on. These “PSEUDO REPUBLICANS: in Washington DC don’t have a scintilla of an idea what we the people in the trenches are doing. It wouldn’t matter who we elect, they know that once they are in Washington DC he or she belongs to them. Any time they get someone like Ted Cruz, or Lee, they have a fit of temper. They are on borrowed time. NO MORE GOVERNMENT FREEBIES. They have to work like the rest of us.

As one FREEPER wrote after McCain picked Sarah as his running mate, “vote for her, hell I want to marry her”

I would like to know what role Rove played in the handling of Katrina. Every move that Bush made seemed to me counter intutive. He was in Crawford and then moved to Barksdale, which is in western La, but then at exactly the wrong moment he flew back to Washington. I saw nothing in this but pure political calculation, and it could only have come from Rove in which he put too much trust, as he did Rice in his decisions about Iraq.

Indeed, the High Rollers treat conservatives like the Democrats treat blacks. But they hedge their bets by backing the “right sort” of Democrat, which is someone who share their social values but will protect their financial interests. It was this type that backed Bill Clinton back in 1992 and stayed with him thru the Gennifer Flowers mess, because he exactly the kind of man to get them what they wanted in a business environment dominated by liberal Republicans.

I don’t believe that for a minute. Even with a leftist media that spews leftist propaganda 24-7, this country is still roughly evenly divided. Our fight has to be with the media. If we change the media, we win.... big.

At the Caucus, I said that I wanted Newt. That statement eliminated me from being a delegate to the state convention for the first time in sixteen years.

The delegate selection was coordinated by LDS delegates who voted in a block during the delegate voting process. None of them had no clue who I was. They did not care that I was the District Secretary, Past Vice Chair and Area Chair. They had no clue about my role as an elected Precinct Committee Officer. All they new was that I was for Newt.

I voted for Romney because I knew Zer0 was a Commie. The trouble with Romney was he had no clue what was a Commie. People like him never study political science things when the order of their life was to be a good LDSer or a lazy independent.

To me, Romney was the candidate for the independents. The grass root conservatives were squeezed out of the picture. The ball was in the independent’s court and their task was to put forth the campaign for Romney to win. Instead, they proved that they did not have the experience or fortitude to do what the conservative grass root had historically done. The independents did not have the work ethic that made things work in the past. They had no clue what work it took to run a successful campaign. They were arrogant and lazy. Their only work was the effort it took to clink the cocktail glasses and ogle at each other’s sexy wife. They slapped the face of the conservatives and told them they would do it their way for a change.

When the Romney people relied on a computer system to get out the vote, that is where their arrogant independent laziness hit them in the rear. That computer system either crashed or was hacked. They didn’t even bother to beta test it. It was end of story for a campaign to disaster.

"We don’t need Sarah making it all about her. If she wants to join the battle quit sniping from the sidelines and run for something Sarah."

Sarah is saying something important. The High Roller Machine can continue sending in the money. However the money should be smart money spent on candidates with the best grass roots support and on efforts to help the grass roots do their work better. Instead they are just using money to buy influence. And, if they have no clue what is a Precinct Committee Officer, that tells people they have no interest in other things that matter to a free people.
