WHAT??? Delay it to the benefit of the democrats up for reelection in 2014? This makes absolutely no sense. Kill this thing now, take the political hit, and cram it right in Obama’s face.

Delaying only allows them to deeply entrench parts of ObamaCare. Big mistake because they can use that for an excuse next year. End it now!
I can think of pitfalls in extending for one year but I can also think of possible advantages. If nothing else can be done to eliminate Obamacare a one year hiatus would be O.K. but two years even better to shake out onerous stuff. It should be apparent by now to all people that Obama and his enablers are using Obamacare to establish Obama as a world leader. The Saudi rulers see him as the savior for their oil markets and people like Soros and the Rothchilds look to him for their world banking power. The two forces acting together would strangle the USA Constitution. Even Putin recognizes their intent. Soros best not go to Russia with his influence.

Just the gift bam-bam was hoping for. He wants a shutdown. When people don’t get their social security payments and the military doesn’t get paid, people will be furious with the GOP.
I’m no Boehner fan, but he’s responding to the calls to make a stand here. The GOP has limited cards to play here, with the Senate and White House in enemy hands.
Why not just kill Obamacare outright?
All this is about as real as “reality” TV. It is all smoke screen. They play the role for the cameras then go have dinner and drinks together.
Regarding the smoke-and-mirrors that we’re getting from DC concerning Obamacare, please consider the following. I don’t know if this is possible in the 2014 election cycle, but as I’ve mentioned in related threads, if patriots can get off of their couches on election day and elect 2/3 majority conservatives in both Houses of Congress then we’ll have the following situtation.
Conservative supermajority control of Congress will give Congress the power, under the Constitution’s Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. So Congress could have the power to repeal constitutionally indefensible Obamacare after 2014 elections without Obama’s signature if patriots can get their acts together before that time.
