Yes, why is he so alone? Surely some of the other senators could stay up until midnight.Reminds me of the Hunger Games, when Katniss is trying to impress the game makers with her archery and they only spare her a moment before they get back to drinks, a feast, and schmoozing.
Her life hanging in the balance and they're happily chatting over cocktails. Gosh that sounds familiar.

Guess I missed the naysayers in the beginning. I have no time or patience for them, ever.
My only trouble with Rand tonight is his lack of hanging out there to give Ted a bit of a break in speaking. Just really surprised at that after what Ted offered Rand during his long filibuster.
Other than that, I know in my heart that millions upon millions are so disgusted with everything having to do with government, anything this brave and courageous man can do to shed light, I herald it.
It’s been a joke on twitter with some of the more unhinged dems, they are so easy to offend ;-)
